Scheduled Cleanup
WHAT IT DOES
Dropped items pile up on any busy server. They lag the world, clutter the ground and never go away on their own. This mod clears them on a schedule, warns players before each cleanup, and lets you control exactly when and where it happens.
All settings live in a single text file. There are no commands to learn and no permissions to set up.

REQUIREMENTS

Runs on the server. Clients do not need to install it.
INSTALLATION
Put the jar file into your server's mods folder.
Start the server once. The config file is created automatically.
Open config/scheduled_cleanup.cfg and change what you want.
Restart the server to apply the changes.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Does it run on the client?
No. It is a server-side mod. Players can join without installing anything.
Will it delete items players dropped on purpose?
Yes. Anything on the ground is removed when the timer fires. That is exactly why there is a warning message. If players need more notice, raise warningMinutes.
Can I clean only some dimensions?
Yes. Set targetWorlds to the dimension ids you want. Leave it empty to clean everything.
Can I turn it off temporarily?
Set intervalMinutes to a very large number, or remove the mod. There is no separate on/off switch.
Does it work with modded dimensions?
Yes. Put their dimension ids in targetWorlds, or leave targetWorlds empty to include everything automatically.
Will it delete my buildings or chests?
No. It only removes dropped item entities on the ground. Blocks, chests and their contents are untouched.
