SCC - Super Cool Calculator

A storage and autocrafting network with nothing to encode. Put a connector on the chests you already have, a calculator on the machines you already built, and ask the terminal for what you want.

SCC – Super Cool Calculator 1.4.8 for Minecraft 26.1.2

Minecraft 26.1.2 · NeoForge 26.1.2.75+

Update from 1.4.7 – just replace the jar. Nothing in your world is lost.

New

  • Useful tips page in the guide: a new chapter right after the first steps lists every hotkey, click combination and hidden shortcut of SCC in one place - terminal and ordering, wireless terminal, filters, Processing Calculator, Stellar Gear and tools. Rebindable keys show your current binding.
  • Recipe rules for the whole network (GitHub #217): recipe and machine choices from the order window are saved in the Calculator Controller and apply to every player, Requester, order list and AE2 request. Shift-click a recipe card to try its type first, right-click for "never"; edit all rules in the new controller tab Recipes.

Fixed

  • Fluid machines filling buckets instead of fluid storage (GitHub #201): a Transfer Calculator importing from a machine with a tank (e.g. Just Dire Things' Advanced Fluid Collector with a bucket in its slot) now empties full buckets/cells straight into fluid storage and puts the empty container back into the machine, so no stray buckets end up in your storage. You still get buckets when you ask for them: a bucket as an item filter in the import list, or Both mode with an empty bucket in the export list.
  • Long Custom Machinery recipes reported as failed (GitHub #206): an order now waits as long as a Custom Machinery machine it uses is running its recipe, however long the recipe takes - the order timeout only starts counting once the machine stops (finished, errored or out of power). No need to raise the timeout for slow recipes.
  • Chemical recipes switching to the item alternative near the limit (GitHub #204): with exactly enough of a chemical in storage (e.g. 10,000 mB Biomass for 1,000 Dirt in the Metallurgic Infuser), the planner now uses the full amount - 999 and 1,000 Dirt no longer fall back to Bio Fuel. The planner always sees the real chemical amount (no more rounding down).
  • Order details naming the wrong Calculation Crafter tier (GitHub #207): the order window now shows the real crafter (e.g. "Calculation Crafter (Singularity)") instead of always "Calculation Crafter (Basic)". The work was always done by the right crafter - only the name was wrong.
  • "Max" ordering more than storage holds with auto-compression (GitHub #207): with auto-compression on, the planner counted the same metal twice (as ingots and again as nuggets/blocks), so "Max" offered too much and the order later stopped with missing ingredients. Ingots, nuggets and blocks of one metal now count as one shared stock.
  • Server load from Singularity Transfer Calculators and Star Quarries (GitHub #208): a Transfer Calculator that only gets a few items per cycle (the machine or chest takes or delivers just a little) now waits a bit longer and moves the same amount per second in bigger batches - it checks that nothing runs dry. Storage Connectors skip containers that don't hold the item at all, and the Star Quarry stores its drops once per cycle instead of once per block.
  • Transfer Calculator import no longer skips slots: an import now goes through every slot of the container in one cycle (up to its tier limit) - before, about a third of a full chest stayed behind until the next cycle.
  • Mekanism upgrade recipes ignoring charged machines (GitHub #210): a machine with energy or contents in storage (e.g. a powered Elite Factory) now counts for Mekanism's tier upgrade recipes - before, only empty ones were found. Empty machines are used first; energy and contents move into the upgraded machine.
  • Mekanism recipes with a fluid and a chemical getting stuck (GitHub #212): e.g. Molten Thermonuclear in the Pressurized Reaction Chamber (Lava + Superheated Sodium + Netherite) was misread, so a missing chemical went unnoticed and the order hung with only Lava in the machine. A missing chemical is now made by its own recipe first or shown as missing in the order window, and a chemical made in one step is taken out of the machine for the next one. The recipe scan reruns once after the update.
  • Mekanism Rotary Condensentrator recipes missing (GitHub #212): gas to fluid (e.g. Ethene to Liquid Ethene) and fluid to gas were not offered, because gas and fluid share the same name. Both directions can now be ordered and planned, the Processing Calculator fills in the gas or fluid and takes out the result, and it switches the machine between Condensentrating and Decondensentrating when needed.
  • Fluid results stuck in machines with an input and an output tank (GitHub #213, #216): the Processing Calculator now takes fluid results out of the output tank even when the input tank is empty - e.g. Quantum Infusion from the AdvancedAE Reaction Chamber or the result fluids of the Oritech Centrifuge with the fluid addon. Before, they stayed in the machine and the next craft could not start.
  • Fluid results never taken out of Modern Industrialization machines (GitHub #214): e.g. Synthetic Rubber stayed in the output tank of the Steel Mixer. A recipe that uses only one of the two fluid inputs leaves the other input tank empty, and SCC mistook the output tank for an input because the empty one accepts any fluid. Auto-pull and auto-drain now check which tank would really take the fluid - output tanks are emptied again, input tanks stay untouched. The same applies to other machines with an empty all-purpose input tank.
  • Ghost items in the terminal (GitHub #215): an entry that shows up in the terminal but gives nothing when clicked is now cleaned up. Clicking it or pressing Delete (black hole) on it makes the server count all storages again; the entry disappears if the item is not really there - for example after another mod changed the stored item - and the list is sent again. Items a container shows but refuses to hand out (e.g. the ingredient slot of a Brewing Stand behind a Storage Connector from above) are hidden from the terminal until their amount changes. The black hole window tells you when an entry was removed this way.
