SCC - Super Cool Calculator

A storage and autocrafting network with nothing to encode. Put a connector on the chests you already have, a calculator on the machines you already built, and ask the terminal for what you want.

SCC – Super Cool Calculator 1.4.4

Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1+

Update from 1.4.3 – just replace the jar. Nothing in your world is lost.

New

  • Requester: type the target. Click the number between − and + and type it - also 12.5k, 2m or 3*64, for fluids 250B or 500mB. Enter or clicking elsewhere applies it, Escape cancels. Targets now go up to 999,999,999 (was 9999); big orders are placed in parts of up to 100,000.
  • Batch up to 4096 - the Processing Calculator loads up to 4096 runs per set (was 64), for factories with many slots or machines with large slots. Click the Batch button to type a number; each slot only gets what the machine accepts, a full machine ends the set early and nothing is lost.
  • Storages: "One slot per kind" (GitHub #166). The Void excess button of Item, Fluid and Chemical Storage now has a third mode: every kind may fill at most one slot (one tank, or the storage's size divided by its tank count for items) - whatever a kind brings beyond that is deleted, so constant lava can't fill a whole Fluid Storage. A new kind with no free slot is refused, never deleted.
  • Stellar Pocket: Crafting on a Stick. The portable Crafting Table, Anvil, Stonecutter, Loom, Grindstone and the other "on a Stick" stations now fit in the pocket (GitHub #167).
  • Order more than 9999. The order window, quick re-orders and /scc order now take up to 1,000,000 items (fluids up to 1,000,000 B). Type short forms like 50k, 1.5m or 3*64; "Max" also counts that high.
  • Order patience for the whole network. The Calculator Controller has a clock button: waiting orders give up after Default, 30 s ... 30 min or Never - for every order in the network, also from Requesters and AE2. Never: only a player cancels; a real error pauses the order with its reason. A Processing Calculator's own time wins, then the network, then F7.

Fixed

  • Just Gooey Calculator: Blaze, Void and Eclipse Ember Fuel. The goo recipes that turn one fluid into another (Unrefined → Ember Fuel) were missing, and the order window asked for "Creative Goo" (from Just Dyna Things' JEI page). They now run in the Just Gooey Calculator with the goo tier the recipe really needs (Blaze Ember Fuel: Tier 2 or higher), straight from tank to tank.
  • Energizing Socket window: big rates no longer run over "Rods: 8 / 8" - the rate is shortened (1.6M FE/t), hover the line for the exact number.
  • Requester with fluids: stock and target show their unit like the terminal (mB / B, "10KB / 25KB"), the fluid or chemical is drawn as itself instead of an unreadable square, +/− on mB rows step in whole buckets, and the order size also works for fluid rows. Fluids without a bucket and Mekanism chemicals can be dragged in from JEI.
  • Dragging from JEI onto SCC windows no longer paints the drop fields bright green - they get a frame in the design's accent color.
  • Night vision no longer flickers without the Exo helmet (GitHub #163). The helmet only ever removes the night vision it gave itself - night vision from a Potion Pylon, a beacon, a potion or a command stays untouched, with or without the helmet.
  • No more crash when hovering items in the terminal (GitHub #165). If another mod fails while building an item's tooltip (seen with Mekanism Chemical Tanks holding gas), SCC now shows the item's name with a short note instead of crashing, and logs the error once.
  • Void excess works for fluids (GitHub #166). A Fluid Storage (or a Storage Connector at a tank) with a fluid in its whitelist and Void excess on now deletes what no longer fits instead of refusing it - from the network as well as from pipes. Fluids dragged from JEI or a filled bucket clicked into a filter slot now become a visible fluid filter entry.
  • Stellar Distributor is much lighter on the server (GitHub #164). Machines that stay full are asked less often instead of every tick, blocks without any power connection are remembered instead of being checked every 5 seconds, and the search spreads evenly over time. Same power, same machines - about half the server time in our test with 240 machines in three dimensions. With a huge energy store (creative), the last machines in line sometimes got nothing; fixed too.
  • Processing Calculator with Custom Pattern Module runs only its own recipes. As soon as one recipe is set, the machine behind it (e.g. an Inscriber with one press) no longer gets other JEI recipes of that machine - orders use another machine or another way, and the order window says why if there is none. A new switch in the recipe editor allows the JEI recipes again.
  • Fluix Crystal is no longer planned at an Inscriber. AE2's in-world recipes (crystals thrown into water) were treated as "any AE2 machine" and hung with "machine is full"; they now count as not doable by a machine, so another way is chosen.
  • Furnace recipes no longer all go to the Ender IO Alloy Smelter (GitHub #169). At equal priority, machines made for a recipe type come first - a furnace before an Alloy Smelter that only smelts on the side. Your own choice now sticks: in the order window's recipe choice, click the machine to set it for every recipe of that type (only that machine is used; click on to get back to automatic). A Processing Calculator set to a machine by hand gets only that machine's recipes.
