Description
Superb Modern Combat [SMC]
⚠️ Early release: This addon is still in an early stage. Bugs, placeholder content and missing features are expected. Survival Mode support is limited (currently only the F-15C has a crafting recipe), and the addon is not fully designed for multiplayer yet (although multiplayer is technically possible).
Required mods
This mod requires Superb Warfare and SBW Optimized (formerly SBW Mesh Loader).
Future plans: Superb Modern Combat is planned to evolve into a fully-featured addon with proper balancing, additional vehicles, sounds and complete gameplay integration. The current release is a starting point, not the final vision.
Overview
Superb Modern Combat adds a selection of Cold War and modern-era military vehicles to Minecraft through Superb Warfare.
All vehicle models are built with Blockbench poly_mesh geometry and rendered through SBW Optimized, which draws them with fast VBO rendering. This includes the detailed tank tracks, which are optimized to keep FPS stable even with many track links.
