Description
💥 Superb Warfare: Persistent Wrecks
Turn destroyed vehicles into lasting battlefield wrecks instead of temporary effects.
Superb Warfare: Persistent Wrecks changes how destroyed Superb Warfare vehicles behave. Normally, a wreck disappears when the white SBW wreck bar reaches zero. With this mod installed, wrecks remain in the world, continue burning, produce smoke, create danger zones, and can later be extinguished or salvaged.

✨ Features
🚛 Persistent Vehicle Wrecks
Destroyed tanks and vehicles no longer immediately disappear when the normal Superb Warfare wreck timer ends.
The wreck remains visible in the world until a player removes it using the Defuser.
🔥 Extended Wreck Burning
After the normal SBW wreck bar reaches zero, the wreck continues burning for an extended period.
The default additional burn time is approximately 40 minutes, but this can be changed in the configuration.
🌫️ Dynamic Smoke and Fire Effects
Burning wrecks produce atmospheric effects such as:
-
Black smoke
-
Flames
-
Sparks
-
Burning particles
-
Reduced smoke as the wreck cools down
Once a wreck has been completely extinguished, its heavy smoke will not suddenly return.
🏳️ Long-Distance Smoke Beacons
Large burning wrecks can create a subtle smoke plume that remains visible from farther away.
This makes destroyed vehicles easier to locate and creates a much more immersive battlefield atmosphere.
Smoke beacons can be adjusted or disabled through the configuration.
🧯 Functional Fire Extinguisher
The mod adds a custom Fire Extinguisher that can be used directly on burning wrecks.
Aim at the wreck and spray it to reduce the remaining burn time. Correctly aiming at the wreck extinguishes it faster.
Once fully extinguished:
-
Flames disappear
-
Heavy smoke stops
-
Secondary explosion risks are removed
-
The wreck remains available for salvage
🛠️ Defuser Wreck Removal
Use the Superb Warfare Defuser to remove destroyed vehicles.
Removing a wreck is not instant. You must hold the Defuser on the wreck while a progress bar fills.
This prevents players from instantly deleting large wrecks during combat.
🔩 Vehicle Salvage
Successfully removing a wreck with the Defuser rewards the player with salvage materials.
The amount and quality of salvage depends on the destroyed vehicle:
-
Light vehicles provide smaller salvage rewards
-
Armored vehicles provide better rewards
-
Large tanks provide the most valuable salvage
-
Vehicles carrying ammunition may provide different materials
Salvage rewards and removal timings can be customized in the configuration.
💣 Secondary Explosions
Burning wrecks may occasionally suffer a smaller secondary explosion.
Secondary explosions are more likely with:
-
Tanks
-
Armored vehicles
-
Vehicles carrying ammunition
-
Large military vehicles
-
Wrecks that have been burning for an extended time
These explosions are smaller than the original vehicle destruction but can still damage nearby players.
⚠️ Explosion Warnings
Unstable wrecks may warn nearby players before a secondary explosion occurs.
Possible warnings include:
-
Crackling sounds
-
Red sparks
-
Unstable ammunition effects
-
Action-bar warnings such as:
Unstable ammunition
Pay attention to these warnings and move away from the wreck!
☢️ Burning Wreck Danger Zones
Standing on or inside a burning wreck can cause light fire damage.
Large tanks and heavily armored vehicles create more dangerous wreck zones than smaller vehicles.
Danger zones can be adjusted or completely disabled through the configuration.

Collect the recovered salvage materials.
🧯 Extinguishing a Wreck
To extinguish a burning wreck:
-
Equip the custom Fire Extinguisher.
-
Aim directly at the wreck.
-
Hold the use button to spray.
