Savaru Growthology 0.2.18 โ The Talent Tree Update
Coming from 0.1.1? Your character's growth just got a whole second half.
Back on 0.1.1, Growthology was a skills-and-levels panel: open it, level up, spend your points, done. 0.2.18 keeps all of that โ and bolts a full passive Talent Tree on top of it. Here's what you'll actually notice the moment you log in.
๐ณ A brand-new Talent Tree โ press Y
The headline feature that simply didn't exist in 0.1.1.
- Open a huge, symmetric "kaleidoscope" tree โ hundreds of interconnected nodes radiating out in six-fold symmetry, so it looks deliberate instead of random.
- Earn talent points as you level and pour them into the branches you want. Every node has multiple ranks, so you keep investing as you grow.
- Every node has its own icon now, so you can read your build at a glance instead of squinting at identical dots.
- Search for a node, recenter the view, and check a live stats panel that totals up everything your points are giving you.
๐ ๏ธ Build your own tree, in-game
For pack makers and tinkerers โ no config-file editing required.
- Add, edit, delete and link nodes directly on the tree.
- Mirror whole branches to keep things symmetric, and set per-node conditions, multipliers and bonuses.
- Save your layout in-game and it sticks.
โจ It looks the way it should
- No more blurry menus. The skills panel, the tree, and the settings screen are crisp instead of frosted over.
- Opens at a sensible 100% zoom, centered โ not the entire map dumped on screen.
- Soft-edged connection lines between nodes for a clean, finished look.
- Rank numbers stay put and no longer overlap the header or your buttons.
โก It runs smooth
- The tree stays high-FPS even fully zoomed out across every node, thanks to off-screen culling and level-of-detail drawing. Panning and zooming feel fluid.
๐ฉน It just works now
- Fixed the big one: opening the skills panel (C) and then the tree (Y) used to garble every node's icon into the same texture with stretched "block" smears. That hand-off is now clean โ the tree looks identical however you open it.
- Settings scroll with the wheel, so options no longer hide off the edge of the panel.
- Progress saves reliably โ the big generated tree no longer fails to save and reset itself on the next launch.
- Dedicated mana & spell icons, and skills that live outside the tree still spend points and apply their bonuses correctly.
๐ฏ Your old skills are still here
Everything from 0.1.1 โ the skills panel (Open Skills), your levels, categories and milestones โ is unchanged and still on C. The Talent Tree is a new layer on top, not a replacement.
