Rustling Leaves 2.8.0+26.1.2
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
The first version for Minecraft 26.1.2: everything of Rustling Leaves 2.8.0, plus what the newer Minecraft brings.
Added
- Vanilla leaf litter becomes leaf litter of the mod: the same patches on the ground, but made of loose leaves that
react to wind, footsteps and blasts like every other pile. Breaking the litter scatters its leaves. Client option
leaves.vanillaLeafLitterkeeps the vanilla look. - Pale oak leaves stay pale grey-green when the other trees turn gold and red in autumn.
- The leaf counts moved to an entry of the new debug screen (
rustling_leaves:leaves), shown with F3 as before.
Changed
- Since Minecraft 1.21.5 every tree drops falling leaf particles of its own. They are replaced by the mod's leaves: cherry petals one for one as before, the other trees keep the mod's own leaf fall and lose the flat particles, so leaves never fall twice.
Compatibility on 26.1.2
- Falling Leaves (its 3.x versions) works as on 1.21.1.
- The Serene Seasons compatibility is in place, but Serene Seasons 26.1.2.0.6 and 26.1.2.0.7 crash on joining a world by themselves; it works again with a fixed Serene Seasons.
- The compatibility with Immersive Weathering, Realistic Waves and Living Wind is missing: these mods have no NeoForge version for Minecraft 26.1.2.
- Pocky Shaders on Minecraft 26.1.2 needs its next version: older versions read a vertex value Iris leaves undefined there and paint black blocks over the leaves.
- Leaves still cast no shadows in a shader pack's shadow map (as on 1.21.1); the mod's own pixel shadows stay.
