Description
Bring your character to life.
Wake up in a new world, stretch after a quiet moment, inspect a treasured find and settle beside a campfire. RPG Animations adds expressive movement to everyday Minecraft adventures, with animations that nearby players can see too.
Minecraft 26.3 and 1.21.1 · NeoForge
A little more life in every action
- Wake up and wind down: cinematic waking, blinking, eye rubbing, climbing into bed and getting back up.
- Adventure in motion: walking, sprinting, swimming, climbing, landing, riding and elytra flight.
- Make every action count: weapon swings, tool use, fishing, eating, item pickup and dropping.
- Appreciate your discoveries: different inspection animations for blocks, tools, weapons and special items.
- React to the world: shield your eyes from sunlight and rain, warm your hands, shake off water and react to heat and cold.
- Express yourself: wave, nod, bow, beckon, point and give thanks, with idle stretches and typing gestures.
- Everyday details: equipment adjustments, workstation gestures and distinct container interactions.
- Share the moment: multiplayer animations and optional inventory, book and backpack previews.
Installation
Choose the JAR matching your Minecraft version:
| Minecraft | NeoForge | Java | Mod Version |
|---|---|---|---|
| 26.3 | 26.3.0.76 | 25 | 1.0.0 |
| 1.21.1 | 21.1.259 | 21 | 1.0.0 |
Place the matching JAR in your instance's mods folder. Use the same build on the server and all participating clients. Singleplayer works too.
Make it yours
Open Mods > RPG Animations > Config to toggle individual animations, enable reduced motion and choose animation priorities. Per-action settings let Punchy and Better Combat handle overlapping actions while RPG Animations remains available for others.
Inventory and book previews are opt-in: enabling sharing lets nearby players see those contents. Chat messages and desktop images are not shared.

This is my first ever mod. Just a new developer experimenting with ideas, learning as I go, and seeing what I can create. No limits, just curiosity, creativity, and a lot of trial and error. Who knows what I'll make next?
