Description
Roaster's Delight is an add-on for Farmer's Delight that brings coffee and tea to your kitchen.
Grow your own coffee and tea, roast and grind your beans, and brew warm drinks in a kettle or an espresso pot. Stir in milk, sugar, caramel, cocoa, honey or matcha to make every drink just the way you like it, from a simple cup of coffee to an iced caramel mocha.
It also adds cozy cafe treats like tiramisu, scones and matcha cookies, crops that follow the seasons, and a small jungle friend called the civet.
It's time to brew something nice!
Getting Started
Find a coffee plant! Coffee plants grow wild in jungles. Pick their ripe cherries, chop them on a cutting board for coffee beans, roast the beans in a smoker and grind them on the cutting board with a millstone. Then set a kettle on a stove, fill it with water and start brewing.
Tea grows wild too. Look for tea bushes in cherry groves and meadows, chamomile in plains and flower forests, mint near water and matcha in bamboo jungles.
We recommend installing JEI to see every recipe, including all the ways you can mix your drinks.
Features
- Coffee: coffee plants, roasting, grinding, hot coffee, iced coffee and instant coffee.
- Espresso: an espresso pot for espresso shots, lattes and americanos.
- Tea: tea bushes, chamomile, mint and matcha, with hot teas in teacups and iced teas in tall glasses.
- Mix your drinks: milk, sugar, caramel, cocoa, honey, matcha and ice each change a drink's name!
- Caffeinated: coffee makes you move faster, but watch out for the crash when it wears off.
- Treats: tiramisu, honey chamomile cake, scones, tea sandwiches, matcha cookies and more!
- The civet: breed them with coffee cherries, and feed them to get kopi luwak!
Requirements
Roaster's Delight is a NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1. It needs Farmer's Delight and GeckoLib.
It works well with Serene Seasons, JEI, AppleSkin and Jade, but none of them are required.
FAQ
Do I need Serene Seasons?
No. Without it your crops simply grow all year round.
Where do I find coffee?
Wild coffee plants grow in jungles. Plant an unroasted coffee bean to grow your own.
Where do I find tea?
Tea bushes grow in cherry groves and meadows, chamomile in plains and flower forests, mint near water and matcha in bamboo jungles.
Why doesn't my drink have foam?
Foam needs both milk and ice stirred into the drink.
How do I get rid of the Caffeine Crash?
Drink a chamomile or mint tea, or eat a herbal treat like a tea sandwich.
Is there a Forge or Fabric version?
Not at the moment. Roaster's Delight is made for NeoForge.

About the Civet
In Roaster's Delight we feature kopi luwak and the civet. Despite the mod being a fun thing, there is a real world issue with civets. Many wild civets are caught and kept in small cages so the coffee they eat can be collected from their droppings and sold as kopi luwak.
