Roadster Studio brings a detailed, fully drivable sports car to Minecraft, powered by a real rigid-body physics engine instead of simple boat-style movement.

Experience realistic suspension and handling on the road, activate powerful cold-gas thrusters to launch into the air, hover above the ground, perform mid-air flips, or even drive straight up walls.

Whether you want to enjoy realistic driving, experiment with vehicle physics, or perform incredible stunts, Roadster Studio offers a unique driving experience.

Compatible with Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge, with support for both singleplayer and multiplayer servers.

Easy to install: Physics libraries and native files are already bundled with the mod. No additional physics libraries are required. Fabric versions require Fabric API.

• Launch your vehicle off the ground using powerful thrusters
• Hover above the ground and control your movement in the air
• Freely adjust roll and pitch while airborne
• Perform kickflips with three selectable ranges: Short, Standard, and Long
• Experience detailed thruster effects, vapor clouds, and synchronized sound effects

Wall Driving

Defy gravity and take your vehicle onto vertical surfaces.

• Place your vehicle against a wall and drive straight up it
• Activate Strong Grip Mode to maintain traction on vertical surfaces
• Release the grip to return to normal physics

Supported Minecraft Versions

Roadster Studio supports multiple Minecraft versions and mod loaders.

Important: Always download the file that matches both your Minecraft version and your mod loader.

Java Requirements

64-bit Java is required.

Installation

1. Install the appropriate version of Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge for your Minecraft version.
2. Download the corresponding Roadster Studio .jar file.
3. Place the downloaded file in your Minecraft mods folder.
4. Fabric users: Install the matching version of Fabric API.
5. Launch Minecraft and enjoy Roadster Studio.

No additional physics libraries or native dependencies need to be installed separately.

Compatibility & Important Notes

• Primarily tested on Windows 64-bit.
• Linux and macOS native libraries are included, but these platforms have received less testing.
• Compatibility between worlds saved using different versions of Roadster Studio is not guaranteed.
• Compatibility with every shader pack, VR configuration, or combination of other mods is not guaranteed.
• Backing up your worlds before updating the mod is recommended.

Terms of Use & Redistribution

Roadster Studio is developed and distributed by MakoEnergyGamer.

You are welcome to use the mod for personal projects, videos, multiplayer servers, and modpacks under the following conditions.

Allowed Uses

Personal Use

• Downloading and playing Roadster Studio in singleplayer or multiplayer.
• Using the mod for personal projects and creative activities.

Videos & Livestreams

• Creating videos, livestreams, and other content featuring Roadster Studio.
• Monetizing videos and livestreams that use the mod.
• Credit is appreciated but not required for videos and livestreams.

Modpacks & Servers

• Including the original, unmodified Roadster Studio in modpacks.
• Using the mod on multiplayer servers.
• Distributing modpacks containing the unmodified mod, subject to applicable platform rules.

Add-ons & Original Projects

• Creating and distributing original add-ons, integrations, or other independent works that use or depend on Roadster Studio.
• Credit to Roadster Studio by MakoEnergyGamer is required when distributing these works.
• Add-ons and independent works must not redistribute the original mod's files unless separately permitted under these terms.

Substantially Improved Versions

• Creating and redistributing modified versions that introduce major new features or significant functional improvements.
• Such versions must provide substantial additional functionality beyond minor adjustments, cosmetic changes, or simple repackaging.
• Credit to Roadster Studio by MakoEnergyGamer is mandatory.
• A clear description of the modifications and improvements must be provided.

Preferred Distribution Method

Whenever reasonably possible, please distribute improvements as separate add-ons or patches rather than complete copies of the original mod.

Ideally, users should download the original Roadster Studio from its official project page and install your improvements separately.

Please avoid bundling the original mod's source code or files when they are not necessary for your improvements to function.

This is the preferred distribution method, not an additional mandatory condition for substantially improved versions otherwise permitted above.

Not Allowed

• Redistributing the original, unmodified mod as a standalone download outside the permitted modpack distribution described above.
• Redistributing versions containing only minor or superficial modifications, such as simple renaming, small cosmetic changes, or basic configuration adjustments.
• Claiming Roadster Studio or its original assets as your own work.
• Removing or misrepresenting the required original author credit when distributing permitted derivative works.
• Selling the original mod or repackaged copies of it as a standalone product.
• Redistributing the mod or its files in ways not expressly permitted above without authorization from the author.
