Rise Of Trees

Makes Minecraft trees grow taller and more impressive while preserving their natural vanilla appearance

Rise of Trees adds configurable height bonuses to vanilla Overworld trees while preserving their natural shape, foliage, branches, roots, and vanilla generation behavior.

Features

Separate height settings for oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, and cherry trees.

Works with naturally generated trees, sapling growth, and bonemeal growth.

Supports both standard trees and 2x2 tree variants, including large tree types grown from four saplings.

Preserves vanilla foliage, branches, roots, decorators, and generation logic instead of simply stretching the entire tree.

Vanilla collision checks and build-height limits remain fully active.

Existing Worlds and New Worlds

Rise of Trees can be added to an existing world at any time.

Trees that were already generated before installing the mod will remain unchanged.

However, after the mod is installed, any new trees that grow from saplings or bonemeal will use the configured increased heights.

Trees generated in newly explored areas of the same existing world will also use the Rise of Trees height settings.

This means you do not need to start a new world to use the mod. Simply install Rise of Trees, and all trees created or generated from that point forward will use the configured settings.

If you start a completely new world with Rise of Trees already installed, all supported naturally generated trees will use the configured increased heights from the beginning.

Configuration

Edit .minecraft/config/riseoftrees-common.toml to set the height bonus individually for each supported tree type.

This allows you to keep some trees close to their vanilla height while making other tree types significantly taller.

Compatibility

Available for Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge across multiple Minecraft versions.
