Description
Riftbound
Riftbound is a Minecraft Java 1.21.1 NeoForge mod about cutting holes through reality with the Void Dagger.
The dagger does not simply teleport you. It tears open a temporary Void Point, a physical rift that links the world around you to a personal pocket dimension hidden beyond normal space.
Lore
Long before players learned to build portals, the Void was already listening.
It existed between dimensions as a silent pressure, a place where distance, light, and direction barely mattered. Most people only brushed against it in dreams, in the End, or in the last second before falling forever.
The Void Dagger is a tool made from things that should not belong together: echoes, obsidian that still remembers crying, netherite, blaze fire, Ender sight, and the impossible gravity of a Nether Star.
When swung, it does not open a door.
It cuts a wound.
For a few seconds, the wound stays open. Step through, and you enter a pocket carved from the Void itself.

Void Dagger
The Void Dagger is the core of Riftbound.
Right-clicking it opens a Void Point in front of the player. The portal stays open briefly, then begins closing unless someone walks through it. Each use resets the timer, allowing smooth two-way travel without leaving permanent portals behind.
Pocket Dimensions
Every player has their own pocket dimension space.
By default, the pocket is small and contained, making it useful for storage, staging areas, hidden rooms, or private builds. Server admins can configure the pocket size depending on how large they want these spaces to become.
The pocket is surrounded by protective boundaries, with a roof above the platform and safety logic to stop players from being lost to the void.
Multiplayer
Riftbound is designed for multiplayer servers.
A pocket belongs to its owner, but open Void Points can allow other players to follow through. This makes pockets feel like real spaces instead of locked menus or fake teleport destinations.
