Reworked Achievements
Achievements in Minecraft, but with a rarity ladder.
5 838 achievements — 5 713 built from the game's own registries plus 125 reworked vanilla ones — sorted into seven tiers, all of them reachable, and a completely rebuilt achievements window to browse them in.

Nothing below the top tier asks for the whole catalogue. An Ascended achievement is a save-wide project: the last legendary of a tier, the last four thousand achievements, placing a hundred thousand of a single block.
Every goal is a rung on a ladder — mine 32 stone → mine 256 → mine 1 024 — so the deeper steps of a long-lived save are the natural place to find them. The hardest tier holds the prestige goals: a thousand kilometres walked, 250 000 mobs killed, 100 000 stone mined.

A new achievements window
Opened with the vanilla key, drawn from scratch:
- rarity sidebar with live per-tier progress,
- category tabs that page when they stop fitting,
- live search, status and sort filters,
- a progress bar on every card, rarity-tinted cards, a detail panel,
- a layout derived from the window size — from a small window with details overlaid to a large one with details in their own docked panel.
The window remembers where you were: filters, tab page, scroll position and the achievement you had open all come back next time.
Other mods' achievements, in the same window
A tab per mod sits at the top next to the catalogue's own tabs — labelled with the mod's name, framed in a colour of its own. They are read straight off the mods already on your client, so they are there even on a server that does not send them. Browsable like the catalogue, but never counted into it: not into the tiers, not into the "own everything" goals. Hidden ones stay hidden until earned.
Announcements for the top tiers
From Mythic up, an unlock puts one line in every player's chat — the achievement, the player, the tier, all in the tier's colour, description on hover — and plays a fanfare in everyone's ears: mythic gets the challenge chime, legendary a beacon, ascended a totem. The server decides this, so it looks the same in single player and on a multiplayer server. Nothing custom is sent over the network, just a chat message and a sound packet.
Unlock toasts are redrawn too, with the tier frame and colour.
Safe to add to an existing save
Achievements carry a criterion that can never be triggered on its own, and the mod grants them from the player's statistics and inventory once a second. Nothing about the world or the vanilla advancement tree is patched.
- Works on a server that does not have the mod too — the catalogue and your statistics are still shown, but nothing can be granted there, and the window says so instead of leaving you wondering.
- 16 kinds of goal, and all but the sets and the dimensions read from statistics Minecraft already keeps — so a check costs a map lookup, not a scan.
- Announcements hang off the award itself: an achievement handed out by the engine, by
/advancement grant or by another mod is announced just the same.
Every achievement has a name
Not a formula. The number belongs to the text (Mine Stone: 1 024), and the name says how far up the ladder you are: the first thirty stone are Stone — First Cut, the sixteen thousandth is Stone — The Deep, and the steps in between are Digging In, Lode and Quarry. Each kind of goal owns its own rungs and each rung carries three phrasings, chosen from the achievement's own subject — so neighbours in a list hardly ever read the same.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11, Java Edition
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API — required
Works client-side, server-side, or both.
Notes
The mod ships with an optional development bridge: a localhost door that lets an outside tool look at the running client and drive it. It is off unless the game is started with -Dascension.agent.port=<port> by hand, binds to 127.0.0.1 only, and refuses every request while the game is not in a world. A normal install never sets that property, so the feature stays asleep there.
If you downloaded a version older than 1.21.11, you will have fewer achievements due to the reduced amount of content in the game.
