Crystal Forest progression — Defeat The Harmonic to awaken a calcite-and-amethyst ecosystem filled with multiple crystal tree forms, animated foliage, flowers, grass, dirt variants, paths, farmland, spires, and massive geodes.
Vanilla-inspired crystal life — Crystal Rabbits and Crystal Armadillos retain familiar behavior while introducing unique food, Crystal Scutes, brushing interactions, and crystallized visual designs.
Dangerous encounters — Face Shattered Echoes, Resonant Stalkers, Crystal Sentinels, and the terrifying Crystal Wraith as the frequency grows stronger.
Natural Minecraft integration — Recipes unlock through the recipe book, farming and tool interactions follow familiar rules, and equipment appears in appropriate creative categories.

Combat That Builds Momentum

Resonance is more than a status effect. Resonant attacks mark enemies and increase the damage they receive. Repeated strikes build momentum, sweeping attacks spread Resonance through groups, and defeated resonating creatures may fracture into dangerous manifestations.

The first blow is heard. The second is amplified.

A complete equipment path expands this system through:

Resonant swords, spears, axes, tools, arrows, potions, armor, mount armor, and a protective totem.
Specialized tool abilities including shockwaves, chain mining, Resonant Paths, and Harmonized Farmland.
The Harmonic Shield, awakened by a complete armor set to absorb an attack and answer with a powerful resonant counterwave.
Frequency Relays and Resonant Lanterns that turn crystal frequencies into detection, defense, and redstone utility.

Major Encounter Spoiler — The Harmonic

At the heart of a generated Harmonic Arena waits The Harmonic, an immense entity formed around concentrated crystal frequency.

This custom multi-phase boss raises shields, summons Sentinels, draws beams across the arena, creates shockwaves and ground spikes, calls down crystal rain, and changes rhythm as the fight escalates. Custom boss music and persistent multiplayer-safe encounter state turn the battle into the culmination of everything learned about Resonance.

Victory is the turning point that allows the Crystal Forest's influence to spread.

Configuration

Server owners and players can configure Resonance damage, effect duration, Harmonic Shield cooldown, and particle visibility.

Requirements

Java 25 is required.
Fabric installations also require Fabric API.
Resonance is designed for both client and server.
