Ponder Legacy provides interactive, step-by-step 3D tutorials for Minecraft 1.12.2. Show players how to build machines, connect automation systems, and follow complex processes through animated scenes they can replay.

For modpack and addon creators, it also includes an in-game structure capture and scene editor, making it easier to turn working builds into visual guides.

Features

Interactive tutorials: Hold W over an item with registered tutorials to open its scenes.
Searchable tutorial library: Browse by mod or theme, search for items, and switch between multiple scenes.
In-game structure capture: Select blocks with F8, including block states and block entity NBT.
Scene and animation editing: Open the F7 editor to arrange steps, move or rotate sections, preview animations, and save your work.
Flexible authoring: Create and distribute tutorials through Java, ZenScript, or JSON.

Tutorial content is supplied by compatible addons or your modpack. Bundled example scenes are not registered by default.

What changes in Legacy?

Building on the existing 1.12.2 backport, this edition adds:

Adaptation for Cleanroom and Java 25, validated on the official Cleanroom 0.4.0 release.
An in-game structure and animation editing workflow.
Expanded tutorial navigation, search, category browsing, and scene selection.
Improvements to interface scaling, scrolling, and Chinese/English editor text.
