AE2S Ponder Legacy

**Learn AE2S / Supergiant by watching each network take shape.**

AE2S Ponder Legacy is an original tutorial addon for **Applied Energistics 2 Supergiant (AE2S)** on Minecraft 1.12.2. Eight replayable Ponder scenes explain the building steps, connections, and operating sequence behind a working ME setup, with narration in **English and Simplified Chinese**.

#### Eight tutorials

1. **Your first ME network:** power, energy storage, a drive, and a terminal.
2. **Storage cells and partitioning:** insert cells, understand capacity, and configure partitions.
3. **Channels and cables:** controllerless networks, 8/32-channel cables, cable colors, and Quartz Fiber.
4. **External inventories:** connect storage buses, set priorities, and filter access.
5. **Item import and export:** move items through buses and control the destination.
6. **Autocrafting:** encode a crafting pattern and connect a Pattern Provider, Molecular Assembler, and crafting CPU.
7. **Processing patterns:** send ore to a furnace, provide fuel, and return the finished ingots.
8. **ME P2P tunnels:** separate the carrier network, provide power, and pair tunnels with a Memory Card.

#### How to watch

Hold **W** over a linked item, such as an ME Drive, Pattern Provider, or ME P2P Tunnel. Use `/ponder index` to browse the four tutorial categories, then replay scenes and revisit individual steps with the timeline.

#### Requirements

**Minecraft 1.12.2 · Cleanroom 0.4.0 release, without an `-alpha` suffix · Java 25 · AE2S / Supergiant 1.1.0**

To watch the tutorials, also install **Ponder Legacy 1.4.0** and **CraftTweaker 4.1.20.698**. Ponder is an optional dependency in the loader: the addon starts without it, and tutorial registration remains disabled. All dependencies are installed separately.

Install this addon on the **client**; the server does not need it. Version **0.1.1** supports the released Ponder Legacy 1.4.0 and fixes the version-range issue in 0.1.0.

#### Scope and credits

Scenes use AE2S blocks and multipart components in Ponder's demonstration world. They illustrate the workflow rather than executing a complete ME crafting job. Channel explanations use the default configuration. This addon leaves AE2S recipes, storage capacities, and channel balance unchanged.

The supported implementation is **AE2S / Supergiant**; original AE2 and AE2UEL are outside the verified compatibility scope.

Original scenes, structures, and bilingual narration by **yudream**, released under the addon repository's MIT license. AE2S, Ponder, and CraftTweaker are independent projects with their own authors and licenses.
