Rampage: Titans Unleashed 1.0.0 (Forge 1.20.1)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
[1.0.0] — 2026-10-26
First public release, for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.10.
Mutants
- Mutant Gorilla: ground slam, thrown boulders (they can be knocked back at it) and wall climbing.
- Mutant Wolf: pounces, glides, fires quill volleys and howls for its pack.
- Mutant Crocodile: armoured, with a tail sweep and a charge; it lives in water.
- Phoenix (Nether): fireball volleys, an explosive fireball and dives. It has a 50% chance to be reborn every time it dies.
- Mutant Aye-aye (End): blinks next to its target, slams with its long finger, fires homing void orbs and spreads darkness.
All mutants grow over time and with every kill. Giants stomp through buildings, and their footsteps shake the camera.
Combat behaviour:
- they get unstuck by themselves;
- they topple pillars that players hide on;
- they turn on whoever deals the most damage;
- every melee blow has a 0.6-second wind-up, so it can be blocked with a shield.
Animals
- Albino gorillas: live in troops and defend their young.
- Crocodiles: ambush prey from the water.
- Firebirds: fly in flocks.
- Aye-ayes: shy, but come close to anyone holding chorus fruit.
Boss arenas
| Arena | Where |
|---|---|
| Gorilla dome | jungle, plains, savanna |
| Wolf gorge | taiga, forest, snowy plains |
| Crocodile lake | swamps, beaches |
| Phoenix nest | Nether |
| Aye-aye shrine (101×101 platform) | End islands |
The overworld arenas are placed only on flat ground. Each spawner tidies its arena of stray trees and floating islands the first time a player comes near.
Each boss arrives with its own cinematic entrance, which can be turned off in the client config.
How bosses fight:
- Inside the arena: they break whatever is inside, but never the arena's floor and walls.
- Leaving the arena: they chase players up to 100 blocks from its centre.
- Hits that don't count: attacks on the gorilla, the wolf and the aye-aye from outside the arena, or from the air above it.
- After killing a player: a boss goes back to the middle of its arena and sleeps there, with its own sleeping pose, until something hits it.
Last stand of the Phoenix and the Aye-aye (tranquilizer darts required):
- at 10% health they raise a wither-like shield and become invulnerable;
- only tranquilizer darts break it: 3 for the Phoenix, 5 for the Aye-aye;
- once the shield breaks, the boss falls asleep and can be finished off.
Reward chest:
- 2 random kinds of ore blocks, 1–3 of each;
- 2–4 mutant DNA samples;
- the boss's trophy and its thick hide, if they dropped;
- a phoenix egg, if one dropped.
Taming and pets
Cure the gorilla, the Phoenix or the Aye-aye with the antidote to make it a pet. Bosses from arenas can't be tamed.
- Commands: sit, follow, or hunt hostile mobs.
- Defence: a pet defends you first and doesn't harm villagers or your other pets.
- Keeper's Whistle:
- opens a list of your pets with where they are and how they're doing;
- calls any one of them or all of them, even from unloaded chunks or another dimension;
- lets you rename them.
Phoenix from an egg
- The phoenix egg drops with a 25% chance and hatches after about 10 minutes if kept warm.
- The chick belongs to whoever placed the egg. It never fights, and it flies away from danger.
- Once grown, it takes a Phoenix Saddle and can be ridden.
- The rider is immune to fire and lava, but the Phoenix throws its rider off over water.
