What's new
Project Hero v0.15.15 -- Green Lantern suits + battery oath, Mark 8 Sentry rework, Nova rebalance, Carnage 2.0, Iron Man battle damage, first-person suit-ups, new flight speeds
👁️ WATCH YOUR SUIT-UPS IN FIRST PERSON
- During every suit-up and suit-down in the mod you now stay in first person and can look down to watch the suit form on your own chest, arms and legs.
- Covers Iron Man (C build, C removal, Mark 5 suitcase, Mark 7 wrap/pod, Suit Platform, Stark Gantry, Mark 8 step in/out), Green Lantern, Nova, Symbiote (all hosts), Thor, Flash, Max Steel, Moon Knight and All Might.
- Your body stays planted where you stand (like the First-person Model mod) -- look down to see it; the head is hidden.
- The Stark Gantry no longer swaps you to the front camera.
- Particles near your eyes are hidden during the sequence so they don't cover the view.
🟢 GREEN LANTERN Suits
- Shift+N opens the new Lantern Suits screen: Default, Corps Uniform, John Stewart and Classic Hal Jordan. Your own skin shows through, the Corps and Classic suits put a domino mask on your face, and the John Stewart suit leaves your hands bare.
- Pick a suit while suited and it re-forms out of the ring instantly. Your choice is saved.
- The suit screen also has Remove Ring (click twice within 3 s). Suit-up
- H now suits up/down. You hold your ring hand forward, look at the ring, and the suit spreads out of the ring over your body while the ring blazes bright green. Suit-down flows back into the ring.
- The ring now sits visibly on top of the suit's glove, in first and third person. New keys
- H: suit up/down. V: Giant Hand (was H). Shift+V: Ring Scan. N: clear constructs. Shift+N: suit screen.
- R: tap for Ring Bolt, hold for the Continuous Beam.
- Shift+R: Blast Wave. A curved wall of green light sweeps a 120° cone 8 blocks ahead: 18 damage, knockback (not on bosses), Slowness III for 4 s. 150 charge, 7 s cooldown.
- Z: hold for a green energy bubble around you that blocks every projectile and hit from any side for as long as you hold it. Drains 40 charge a second. Shift+Z dome unchanged. Constructs
- No more time limits or cooldowns on constructs (the Sentry Turret keeps its limits). They still cost charge up front and upkeep. Chain Snare now costs 4 charge a second, and only one Battering Ram can be in flight at once. Power Battery
- You now hold the lantern by its top handle, gripped in your fist, in first and third person, and it swings as you walk and turn.
- New charging: hold the battery in your OFF hand and Sneak + right-click. You hold the lantern out, press your ring to it and recite the Oath line by line (6 s, you are frozen in place -- it also ends Ring Flight). The battery glows brighter with every line and your ring is fully charged at the end. Taking damage cancels it.
- The Oath now shows as a centred subtitle on screen (no more text running into the HUD), for the battery charge and the X recital, ending with "The Oath is spoken".
- Right-clicking a placed battery now tells you how to charge. Flight
- While hovering and flying, a faint green glow wraps your body like an outer layer of light, and sprint-flying leaves a soft, see-through green light trail. HUD
- H and N boxes removed; each key now shows its Shift-move cooldown as a small green bar. New CHARGING and BUBBLE status labels.
- Fixed: the V box showed the Ring Scan cooldown instead of the Giant Hand, and the I-key page showed the wrong text for N.
🦾 IRON MAN Battle damage
- 9 damage stages at 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5% integrity, on every Mark. It gets visibly worse each step: grime and scratches, gouges, dents, cracks, then missing plates with glowing orange-hot edges and exposed wiring, and flickering, cracked eye lenses and arc reactor.
- Sparks from 25%, smoke from 15%, heavy smoke and electrical arcs at 5%. The visor HUD cracks scale too. Taking the suit off with C
- Mark 1: a clunky manual removal. You knock the bolts loose, pull each piece off and drop it beside you (the piece goes back into your inventory).
- Marks 2-7: the faceplate lifts, the suit powers down and every panel retracts toward the arc reactor behind a glowing seam.
- No more zoom-in while suiting up or down with C.
- No sparks or puffs in your face in first person while taking a suit off. Calling suits
- C only opens the suit call menu while you wear the Stark Glasses, and the glasses menu only lists the Mark 8 and later.
- Shift+C send-home is now Mark 8 only.
- Calling the Mark 7 or Mark 8 costs 10% of the suit's power (refused under 10%). Other
- Mark 5 suit-down: your skin's second layer (sleeves, jacket, pants, hat) shows as soon as each piece comes off.
- Stark Gantry suit-down: the HUD and mob highlight switch off the moment the faceplate comes off.
- Mark 1 launch: the flight burst kicks in after 1.5 s (was 3 s).
- Mark 7: each piece arrives open at the front, closes around you and locks shut, following your pose (no more folding in on itself).
🤖 MARK 8 SENTRY MODE
- Calling the Mark 8 with the glasses flies the whole suit in, and it lands 2 blocks in front of you in Sentry Mode.
- Opening: only the back opens, like doors. The front stays intact and the inside is dark, so it reads as a hollow suit.
- Entering Sentry Mode, you walk backwards out of the suit. Stepping in, you line up behind it and walk into the open back so it closes on the right parts.
- Follow mode: proper walking animation, and it takes off and flies to catch up when it falls behind, then lands on solid ground next to you (it now follows you up to 48 blocks before teleporting). Take-off thruster flames no longer linger on the ground.
- Automatic Defensive mode when you get hurt, back to its previous mode once the fight has been quiet for 5 s.
- Follow drains 1% power a second and Defensive 2% a second. At 0 it powers down in Regular mode.
- Shift+C send home: the suit opens, you step out, it closes and flies back to its platform.
- Defensive rescue now lands just in front of you, facing your way, so you can walk straight in.
🌟 NOVA
- New suit-up: you hold the helmet in both hands, raise it and lower it onto your head, then the rest of the uniform materialises from the neck down. Suit-down: the uniform fades from the feet up and you lift the helmet off.
- Nova Force refills 3 a second, half that while flying. +8 melee damage while suited.
- Flight 20 blocks/s, 45 sprinting. New flight trail: the same soft light trail as Green Lantern in Nova gold with cyan strands, flowing from your feet whenever you fly and brighter while sprint-flying.
- New flight glow: while you fly, a faint skin of golden light (with a hint of cyan) wraps your whole body, like Green Lantern's, brighter while sprint-flying.
- Nova Blast: 10 damage per hit, 6 Force a second, no time limit.
- Bolt Volley: 8 damage per bolt, 20 Force.
- Gravimetric Pulse: 20 damage, 20 Force.
- Gravity Slam: 10 to 30 damage depending on drop height.
- Force Field (was Force Shield): hold Z as long as you like, drains 8 Force a second. It drops when your Force runs out.
- Comet Dash: 20 damage.
- Gravity Well: 35 damage, 25 Force, 25 s cooldown.
- NOVA OVERLOAD: every move deals double damage for 15 s with infinite Force. Needs a full bar. Afterwards your Force drops to 0 and refills at half speed for 60 s. 75 s cooldown. The HUD shows the Overload timer and the slow-refill countdown.
- First person: Nova's own particles no longer cover your view.
🖤 SYMBIOTE
- Info page rebuilt like the other powers: how to get it, suit, Biomass, every key with its cooldown, combos, passives, weaknesses, tips.
- The Symbiote suit is now diamond-grade armour and gives Resistance I while it's on (Agent Venom keeps his stronger armour and gets the Resistance too). The old flat 10% suit damage cut is replaced by the Resistance.
- The suit now builds pixel by pixel outward from your chest, over your arms and legs, and finishes with the head. Suit-off plays it in reverse.
- Spikes: black thorns grow out of your back, shoulders and arms when you use the spike moves (and stay out while Thorns is toggled on).
- Call Carnage: hold right-click on a Symbiote creature for 5 seconds (a progress bar shows). It turns crimson, dissolves, and a Carnage meteor comes crashing down. 10 minute cooldown; not on Peaceful or while a Carnage is already nearby.
- Agent Venom's I-key page now shows his own kit.
🔴 CARNAGE (BOSS)
- New skin (wide arms), and his head no longer slowly twists sideways.
- 1000 health (+250 per extra fighter, up to 3500), iron-grade armour, regenerates 2 health every 2 seconds (doubled while frenzied, still stopped by fire).
- Four new moves, all with their own models:
- Tendril Whip Sweep: two barbed tendrils whip a 180° arc out to 8.5 blocks.
- Axe-Arm Cleave: his arm grows into a huge crimson axe, he leaps and smashes down with a shockwave of shards.
- Spike Eruption: glowing cracks race toward you, then crimson spikes burst out of the ground.
- Symbiote Snare: he lobs a goo glob that roots you in a tendril cocoon for 2 s.
