Version 1.1.7

Date: 07/03/2026

New Features

  • "Soul Eater" - Hardcore Anti-Cheese Mechanic: In Hardcore Mode, mobs now gain a "Soul Eater" buff if a nearby player has more than 20 max HP. This massively boosts their damage (mostly magical) to counter high-health players. Empowered mobs are indicated by Witch Particles and a Soul Escape sound.

Quality of Life

  • The "OVERCHARGED" name tag now only appears on mobs that are actively targeting a player, reducing screen clutter from neutral mobs.
  • Added an explicit exclusion for EvilCraft's Vengeance Spirit to prevent unwanted buffs and tag spam.

Fixes

  • Fixed a compilation error (cannot find symbol: getTarget) that occurred when checking a mob's target.

Previous Changes (v1.1.6)

  • Visual Threat Indicators: Mobs now emit particles based on their difficulty tier (Smoke, Flame, Soul Fire).
  • Hardcore Rebalance: Difficulty scaling rate reduced to 1.2% per day.
