Profet's Veinminer

Sneak, mine one ore, and the whole vein comes out.

A lightweight mod for Minecraft Java 26.2 and 26.3 on Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge and Forge. It only has to be on the server, so players join with an unmodified game.

• The whole vein in one break, including ores that only touch at an edge or a corner. Stone and deepslate variants count as one vein.
• A chain reaction you can watch. The vein pops block by block, spreading out from the ore you hit, and every block throws its loot out in front of you.
• Real vanilla drops. Fortune, Silk Touch and XP work exactly as in vanilla, on every block of the vein.
• Fair. Each ore still needs the right pickaxe, every extra block costs durability (Unbreaking applies), and a vein never breaks your pickaxe.
• Only ores. It never chain-breaks stone, logs or your builds.
• Everyone chooses. Any player can turn it off or on for themselves with /trigger veinminer.

Works on every vanilla ore: coal, copper, iron, lapis, gold, redstone, diamond, emerald, nether gold, quartz and ancient debris.

Operators open a clickable menu with /function veinminer:settings. It sets the maximum vein size (64 by default), whether sneaking is needed, where drops land, the animation, durability use, diagonal connections and which ores count.

Enchanted Veinminer turns veinmining into a pickaxe enchantment you have to find first. Making your own add-on? See the add-on API.

• Mod: put the -fabric.jar (Fabric or Quilt, needs Fabric API) or the -forge.jar (Forge or NeoForge) in mods, or install it with the CurseForge app. It's needed on the server (or in singleplayer), not on players' clients.
• Data pack or server plugin (Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Bukkit): those builds are on Modrinth, linked at the bottom of this page.

Use only one of them. To remove Veinminer cleanly, run /function veinminer:uninstall first.
