🐉 Kaal'Ashura, the Ember of the First Dawn

There is one dragon in every world. It sleeps in the crater of the tallest volcano. The elders will tell you its legend and give you an Ember Scale that burns toward it. Far roars and falling ash lead you closer.

  • A world boss with 600 health. It bites, sweeps its tail and breathes fire on the ground, and circles, strafes and dives in the air. Every attack is telegraphed. At half health it becomes enraged.
  • It cannot be killed. At 20% health it yields and kneels. Climb on to start the bond flight, then lean into every lurch as it tries to throw you off.
  • Tame it and fly it: look to steer, W to fly, Space to climb, Sprint to surge, R to breathe fire. The camera banks with every turn.

🧗 Still Here From 1.5

  • Named peaks with a Summit Register, cairn trails and vista points
  • Climbing Rope, Camp Kit and Barometer
  • Readable regional storms and rockfalls, with difficulty modes from Cinematic to Hardcore

📦 Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader 0.20.1+ and Fabric API 0.165.0+ for Minecraft 26.3 (Java 25).
  2. Drop the mod jar into your mods folder.
  3. Create a new world and choose the Primordial Earth world type. Your normal worlds are never changed.

Tips: it looks best with Distant Horizons and Complementary shaders. Don't run Chunky together with Distant Horizons 3.3.4, because that combination crashes when a world is created. /primordialearth locate dragon (operators) shows the dragon's lair.
