Pipster License
Copyright (c) 2026 cptgummiball. All rights reserved.
"Pipster" means the Minecraft mod Pipster in every version and form in which cptgummiball
publishes it: the jar files, the compiled code in them, textures, models, icons, sounds, texts,
language files, data files and documentation, and the Pipster API files (section 5).
1. Ownership
Pipster is the property of cptgummiball. This license gives you limited rights to use it. It
does not transfer any ownership, copyright or other rights. All rights not expressly granted
here are reserved.
2. What you may do
a) Download Pipster from its official pages (Modrinth, CurseForge, and the releases of
https://github.com/CptGummiball/Pipster).
b) Use Pipster to play Minecraft: in singleplayer, and on your own or any other server.
c) Show Pipster in videos, streams, screenshots, reviews and guides.
3. Modpacks
You may include Pipster in modpacks, public or private, free or paid, and distribute it as part
of such a modpack, but only in its original, unmodified state: the jar files exactly as
cptgummiball published them, not renamed in content, not repackaged, not altered in any way.
Where the modpack platform can link to the official download instead of copying the file,
linking is preferred.
4. What you may not do
Unless cptgummiball has given you written permission, you may not:
a) modify, adapt, translate, patch or otherwise change Pipster or any part of it, or create
works derived from it, including modified jar files, forks, ports and re-textures;
b) decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate or otherwise reverse engineer Pipster, or attempt to
obtain its source code, except where and only to the extent that applicable law expressly
allows this despite this restriction;
c) upload, mirror or distribute Pipster anywhere other than as part of a modpack under
section 3, or offer it as your own work;
d) use the textures, models, icons, sounds or texts of Pipster in other projects;
e) remove or change this license or any copyright notice.
5. Pipster API
cptgummiball publishes an API for other mods: the Java package dev.cptgummiball.pipster.api
(provided as a separate API jar with its documentation) and the documented integration class
dev.cptgummiball.pipster.integration.PipsterEndpointProviders. You may use the API jar, the
documentation and the official Pipster jar files as compile-only dependencies to develop,
compile and distribute your own mods that work together with Pipster (for example, mods that
register gases or offer gas handlers). Your mod may reference these classes, but must not
contain the API classes or any other part of Pipster; players install Pipster separately. The
API may not be modified or redistributed on its own. Sections 1 and 4 apply to the API in all
other respects.
6. No warranty
Pipster is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including
warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Back up
your worlds.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, cptgummiball is not liable for any damages arising
from the use of or inability to use Pipster, including loss of data or of game worlds.
Liability for intent and gross negligence, and any liability that cannot be excluded by law,
remain unaffected.
8. Termination
If you break this license, your rights under it end automatically.
9. Other
Pipster is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang
or Microsoft. Minecraft's own terms (EULA) also apply to its use.
