Pin Screenshots
Every screenshot remembers where it was taken.
Press F2 like you always do. Pin Screenshots quietly saves where you were standing, so later you can browse your photos in an in-game album, read where each one was taken, and get guided back to the exact spot. With JourneyMap installed, your photos also show up as pins on the map.
Features
📸 Automatic location data
Every screenshot (F2) gets its coordinates, dimension, biome, world or server name, date and in-game day. The data is stored next to your screenshots, not inside the image file, so sharing a screenshot online never leaks your data.
🖼️ Photo album
Press U to open a gallery of all photos taken in the current world. Click a photo to see it full size. You can give it a title and a note, and flip through your photos with the arrow keys.
🧭 Guide me there
One click and a small arrow at the top of the screen points you to where the photo was taken, with the distance in blocks. It stops on its own when you arrive. Works without any map mod.
🗺️ JourneyMap integration
If JourneyMap is installed, every photo appears as a pin on the fullscreen map and the minimap.
- Hover a pin to see a preview of the photo, its title, date and coordinates.
- Click a pin to open the photo in the album.
- Right-click for more: open in album, guide me there, or add a JourneyMap waypoint.
-------------------
- Client-side only. Install it on your client; it works in singleplayer and on any server, nothing needed on the server.
- Doesn't change gameplay. No new blocks, items or advantages, so it's fine to use on servers.
- Per world. Photos from different worlds and servers never mix.
- Your data stays local. Photo data lives in
.minecraft/pin-screenshots/. Your screenshots stay where they always were. - Languages: English and Polish, more languages will be avaible in the future.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.3
- Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer
- Fabric API
FAQ
Do my old screenshots show up? Only screenshots taken with the mod installed have location data, so older ones aren't in the album.
Can I remove the mod?
Yes. Your screenshots are untouched; the mod only adds its own files in .minecraft/pin-screenshots/.
