Every now and then, a villager turns out to be a pigman.
A pigman looks like a player with a pig's head, oinks instead of hmm-ing, and squeals when it gets hurt. Everything else about it is a normal villager: it has a profession, trades, works its job site, gossips, breeds and panics in raids. It is not a new mob, so mods that work with villagers keep working with pigmen.
How it works
- Every villager has a 1% chance to be a pigman. It rolls once, and the result is saved with the villager.
- Villagers from villages, spawn eggs, breeding, cured zombie villagers and structure templates all roll their own chance.
- Pig voice: ambient, trade and "yes" sounds oink; "no" and hurt sounds squeal; it dies like a pig. Job-site work sounds are unchanged.
