# Persistent Fishing Rods
Recreate the remote fishing rod setups shown in **Unstable SMP / Unstable Universe**, without needing a Nether portal.
Cast a normal fishing rod onto a wooden pressure plate, let the bobber settle, then teleport away. That specific rod stays linked to its bobber, even across unloaded chunks. Reel it in later to release the plate and activate your real redstone contraption or ender-pearl stasis chamber.
### Built for accurate gameplay
Designed to closely reproduce what the series actually shows: persistent bobbers, rod specific control, and remote activation through real/regular pressure plates and redstone.
- Multiple rods independently control different setups. (bobber is linked to the rod not player)
- Links survive logout, death, server restarts, dimension changes, and rod transfers.
- Rods use normal durability rather than automatically breaking. (like some other orbital/stasis mods)
- Fully server sided (nothing needed on the client)
