perdimrespawn

Vanilla only saves a single global spawn point: setting a respawn point in the Nether or the End overwrites the bed in the Overworld. This mod lets each dimension remember its own respawn point, independently of the others.

1.0.0 · First Official Release

Added

  • Per-dimension spawn points; each dimension records its own and they do not overwrite each other.
  • Teleporting to a dimension makes it your default respawn point for that dimension and records the arrival position.
  • After death, you respawn in the dimension where you died.
  • Beds / respawn anchors only override the dimension they are in; validated in real time on respawn, and immediately invalidated and fallen back from if broken.
  • Admin main command /dimsetmo (OP level 4)
    • /dimsetmo default set <dimension> [coordinates] — Set the dimension's default respawn coordinates
    • /dimsetmo default clear <dimension> — Clear the dimension's default respawn coordinates
    • /dimsetmo default list — List configured coordinates
    • /dimsetmo info <player> — View a player's records
    • /dimsetmo unlock <player> — Remove that player's respawn point restriction
    • /dimsetmo lock <player> — Re-enable per-dimension respawning
    • /dimsetmo reset <player> — Clear that player's records
  • Defeating the Ender Dragon and passing through the return portal preserves vanilla behavior (return to the Overworld, not sent back to the End).
  • Built-in Chinese and English language files.

Known Limitations

  • Only "whether the block is still there" is validated; cases where the bed still exists but is blocked by other blocks do not replicate vanilla's logic for finding a standing position.
