Description
This mod backports and extends newer particle effects from Particle Interactions 26.2 to 1.21.1, as well as adding new particle compat for the following mods.
This mod runs on [NF] v0.4.1 for MC 1.21.1: https://modrinth.com/mod/particle-interactions/version/0.4.1. You must manually download the dependency from Modrinth!
- Regions Unexplored
- Biomes O' Plenty
- No Man's Land
- Nature's Spirit
- Windswept
- Spelunkery
- Spawn
This mod also fixes a missing compat with breaking leaves via tree-chopping mods. Now, any supported leaf block broken either by a player or in the world will generate the leaf-breaking reaction, creating a pop of leaves when a tree is cut.
All credit for the particles, ideas, and hard work behind the original mod goes to https://modrinth.com/user/enchanted-games. Go support them! LINKS BELOW

Disclaimer:
- Developed with AI assistance (Claude, ChatGPT).
- This mod has been extensively tested and will receive support and proper debugging for any issues.
- This mod will remove redundant features if Particle Interactions adds these features to 1.21.1
- When any custom assets are needed, I will always use handmade assets, never "AI-generated".
The particles in new biomes match the vanilla variants, with many hand-matched hex colors and a few handmade particles that match.
Performance: This mod adds new particles to plants and blocks, and a minor fix for leaf breaking. This mod is 100% client-sided and should add negligible performance impact compared to the original mod.
This mod was made for personal use, and I want to share mods I think the community would genuinely appreciate. I have spent hours running Spark, looking for crashes and bugs myself. My goal is only to make someone's day a little better by adding content to 1.21.1 that was previously unavailable
I welcome anyone who wants to recreate this mod without using AI. I have some coding experience, but not enough to fully develop and maintain my mods otherwise. If you genuinely want to take over future ports, handle maintenance, and fix bugs, I’d be happy to hand that work over to you. :)
