Panacea (Potions)

A small scale potion expansion and brewing rework mod.

Panacea

Made for Mod Garden: DIY

Panacea is a brewing rework mod that aims to condense the steps required for brewing potions within the Brewing Stand.

Reworked Brewing

The Brewing Stand has been moved in progression to an earlier point, with Blaze Rods being substituted for Gold Ingots within the recipe.

The Brewing GUI has been overhauled to add a few extra slots, mainly to help condense the steps required to brew a potion.

Extra non-Wart based potions.

Don't have Nether Warts? Don't worry! You may craft Healing, Harming, Swiftness, Jump Boost, Slowness, and Weakness with limitations.

Warped Warts

Found within Bastion Remnants, Warped Warts replace the need for both a Nether Wart and a Fermented Spider Eye within brewing.

Inversion recipes now use Warped Warts as an extra input alongside the original ingredient.

Amplifiers and Modifiers

Glowstone and Redstone have been moved to their own slot, they still act the same as before.

Modifiers such as Gunpowder for Splash Potions also gain their own slot within crafting.

Please take a look at the recipe book to see what you may be able to craft.

New Bottles

There are new bottle types, accessed using the modifier slot from the Brewing Stand.

Splash Potion - Gunpowder
Lingering Potion - Wind Charge
Burst Potion - Blaze Powder
- Affects the entities around you upon consumption, as well as yourself to a much lesser degree.
Floating Potion - Phantom Membrane
- A Splash-like Potion that moves upwards for a bit, but eventually falls down at a faster speed.
Indulgent Potion - Dragon's Breath
- A Potion that may be consumed up to 3 times.

Heating and Cooling

Panacea introduces two new Cauldrons, the Heating and Cooling Cauldron.

The Heating Cauldron is able to mix potions together, with durations increasing and decreasing depending on what is placed inside. This may only ever produce a regular Potion bottle.

The Cooling Cauldron may freeze potions into Potsicles, which may be obtained by attaching the Cauldron's contents to a stick. Potsicles do end up losing a bit of potency within the transfer, but may be stacked up to 64 and eaten much faster.
