/place template soccer:pitch spawns a 37 x 21 pitch with a red and a blue goal. Here it sits next to a plains village, with Footballer villagers on it.
Every goal gets a title with the scorer's name, fireworks, a horn and a redstone pulse. Three seconds later the ball is back on the Kickoff Spot.
Strike the edge of the ball to bend it. This shot was aimed at the post and curled back into the net.
Give a villager a Kit Rack and they trade balls in every color, cleats, goal nets, goalkeeper gloves and goal frames.
Higher-level Footballers sell the Power Shot, First Touch and Curve boot enchantments, and at master level the Golden Ball.
Balls in all 16 dye colors, the Golden Ball, Goal Frames, Goal Nets, Goal Lines, the Kickoff Spot, Soccer Cleats, Goalkeeper Gloves, the Kit Rack and the trophy.
Let the attack meter fill, then left-click the ball: it flies straight where you look.
Aim outside the post, strike the edge of the ball and watch it curl back in. Boots with the Curve enchantment bend it even more.
Let a dropping ball land on your head and it goes where you look: look down to head it at the ground, up to loop it.
