What's new
World and structures
- Structures are much more frequent, every kind of them (about three times more candidate spots), and the bigger ones really benefit now: elf cities, dwarven holds, lycanthrope villages, ruined dwarven cities and Armat stone cities used to be blocked by the exclusion zones around other structures, which covered almost the whole map.
- The mod's structures always win their spot: villages from Minecraft and other mods (such as ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village) and pillager outposts never build over one of the mod's structures, they give way to it. The mod's structures no longer overlap each other either (two human villages, a dwarven hold and a village, a goblin camp inside a village…).
- Every Baharuth Empire town now has its monument: either Go Gin's colosseum with Go Gin, or the archmage tower with Fluder Paradyne.
- Katze Plains:
- they are half as common, and just as vast;
- they are now really flattened in game: nearly flat, never below sea level, with natural borders;
- every large plain (about 500 × 500 blocks at least) has its own Great Tomb. Before, most plains were missed.
- These world changes apply to newly generated chunks only: in an existing world, head for unexplored land.
Guide book
-
The guide reads like a website:
- known names (races, lineages, classes, skills, runes, stats, places, creatures, items) are links with a summary on hover;
- back and forward with ◀ ▶, the mouse side buttons or Alt + ← / →;
- tabs: middle-click or Ctrl + click a link, chapter or result to open a new tab;
- favorites with the ★ button, kept between sessions;
- search results are grouped by chapter, with the term highlighted.
-
New chapter, "Places": one page per structure, with:
- an offline render, where to find it and what is inside;
- its dwellers and their levels, its notable treasures, and how to proceed;
- a link that opens the map on the nearest one you have discovered.
The Great Tomb is described floor by floor, from the Pleiades to Ainz.
Interface
- Smaller mod interface: the mod's screens and HUD (character panel, compass, clock, minimap, Appraisal sheet) use the game's GUI scale capped at 2; they only get smaller when the game's scale is 1.
- Appraisal sheet now sits against the right edge of the screen, slightly transparent.
Summons
- Dismiss your summons: a new key (unbound by default, set it in Options > Controls). Hold it for one second to dismiss all your summons, or crouch to dismiss only those within 24 blocks. Guild NPCs, tamed animals and raised allies stay. The commands
/dismissand/dismiss neardo the same.
Fixes
- Fixed a server freeze when a Zurrernorn cult cemetery generated (one of its revenants could freeze the whole world while the chunks were being created).
