Outspecies adds five playable species with powers available from your first selection, distinct vulnerabilities and their own ways to travel, fight and build a home. Expedition 01 is now in beta.

• Aracnea: renewed Mother and guardian attacks, six-eyed guardians, pulsing eggs and woven cocoons. The compact Mother bar reports her actual health or recovery.
• Exuvio: feed a reactive dorsal companion, break your disguise by attacking and emerge from hosts with a visible death. Expand a living refuge with real cargo, muscular lifts and symbiosis rest.
• All five species: a one-page K overview, detailed power guides and clearer HUD and cost explanations in English and Spanish.

01 · Aracnea — a living Hollow / Una Hondonada viva

Climb walls and ceilings with eight animated dorsal legs, weave vanilla cobwebs and detect threats. Travel with the Mother spider, ride her and prepare a woven resting cocoon. Raise guardians to defend your Hollow and vanilla cave-spider gatherers to hunt or dig tunnels, bringing actual resources to your storage cocoons.

02 · Nexario — connect your world / Conecta tu mundo

Place two shared 1 × 2 portals and let friends and compatible entities travel between them. Visit your personal floating island, with a starter cottage, fountain, crops and its own Nexus garden under permanent sunset. Control visitor, building and storage permissions; link three chests for remote building supplies. Travel consumes the creator's food while preserving a reserve.

03 · Exuvio — your dorsal companion / Tu compañero dorsal

A living organism grows from your back, leaving your human hands free. Grapple across caves, return projectiles with four recovering nodules and infiltrate compatible creatures. Their own family may accept your disguise until you attack. Emerging consumes the host with a visible death; possession preserves the consequences of wounds.

Feed the companion and grow a living refuge: a Medulla digests supplies, anchors carry a tendon basket, depots send real cargo, muscular lifts connect levels and a symbiosis chamber lets both of you recover. Fire is your weakness.

04 · Abisal — build beneath the waves / Habita las profundidades

Breathe underwater and use six animated tentacles to anchor, build at range, grab compatible creatures, strike, guard against frontal projectiles and raise yourself onto ledges. Create oxygen bubbles for up to four passengers, let a guest pilot slowly or carry your friends faster. Prepare one dry construction zone, direct currents and explore with your amphibious young kraken.

05 · Quimera — ten bodies, one home / Diez cuerpos, un hogar

Pick a dolphin, cat, chicken, spider, iron golem, horse, bat, frog, armadillo or slime from your form wheel. Carry a consenting friend as a horse and choose the body that suits the terrain. Bond with up to six original animals: assign real gathering jobs, rest spots, toys and simple construction tasks using depot materials. Changing form does not heal you; each body has its own strengths and limits.

The cavern, underwater city and woodland were built for the photographs. Clips use real power logic; the Quimera passenger and Nexario host are test actors. New Nexario islands include the starter habitat; existing islands keep their buildings.

K opens only your chosen species: Overview, Powers and its limits. The overview fits one page; the full guide explains costs, held keys and every tiny HUD indicator. Bindings are configurable in Minecraft's Controls menu.

K abre Resumen, Poderes y los límites de tu especie. G y R conservan sus acciones; H reúne la gestión cuando la especie la utiliza. V sirve para la guardia del Abisal o reunir a la manada de Quimera. Aracnea gestiona su nido y sus criaturas con clic derecho.

Install / Instalación

Required: Fabric API 0.165.0+26.3 and GeckoLib 5.5.7. Install the same mod and dependencies on both client and server. A new character opens species selection; existing characters keep their species.

Growing with your feedback / Creciendo con tus pruebas

This beta has passed 154 server GameTests, 19 unit tests, a full native-client walkthrough and a two-client session on a local dedicated server. An isolated older world also survived a save and reopen with its species, inventory components and loaded mod entity intact. These checks do not cover every modpack or a large remote server.
