Ostentum

A vanilla expansion built on Fundamentum. Nearly everything in it runs on Fundamentum's systems, so it's also the easiest way to see what Fundamentum can do.

What it adds

• Summoning saddles for vanilla mounts: horses, camels, pigs, striders, llamas, dolphins and more. Craft a saddle with the creature's item, put it in the mount slot and press V to call your ride.
• Grappling hooks, from amethyst up to netherite and ender. The Stillwind Hook, found in trial chamber vaults, holds you still in midair. Fire with H.
• Summons. Charms that call helpers to fight for you: wolves, bees, a vex, an allay, a chibi ender dragon, a flying pink dolphin. The Guardian Totem saves you from death once a day.
• Special weapons, each with one trick: a saber that parries, a blade that cooks food and lights campfires, a bow that swaps places with what it hits, a hammer that heaves the ground, a pick that wakes up when you throw it through a Nether portal, and more. Some are crafted, others only turn up in structure loot or from weaponsmiths.
• Whips that hit along the whole cord and crack at the tip, from the Vine Whip to the Ender Whip on End city ships.
• Special moons. The Harvest Moon doubles crop drops, the Enchanted Moon makes enchanting cost no levels, and the Glimmer Moon doubles experience. Each has its own music and a music disc.
• Pillager Siege. Some nights pillagers come at villages in waves. Hold out till dawn for Hero of the Village.
• Boss relics: gold trophies of the Wither, the Ender Dragon, the Warden, and the Elder Guardian.
• Elements. Fire Aspect weapons hit as fire, snowballs as ice, tridents as water.

How it ties to Fundamentum

Ostentum is mostly Fundamentum data. The mounts, hooks, summons, whips, moons, siege, elemental damage and portal crafting all come from Fundamentum; Ostentum adds the items, mobs, art and recipes that use them.
