so aternos wont allow this mod because at almost 2k downloads it isnt popular enough, is there a datapack version available?

I don't have any plans to at the moment. The mod has a MIT license, so you (or someone else) can try to port it.
would u consider maybe backporting it into lesser versions?

I'm interested in 1.18.1 or 2. I play on a server that has the afterlife mod installed for the random origins but we keep having to get refills from the admins to keep from going into spectator mode.
