# Changelog! -> this works on both forge and neoforge

> This may be the first upload here, but it is the second big iteration of the mod, so I'm adding this changelog as a means to outline whatever has been implemented in this new version.

### 1. Added levels of detail
Not as in LODs, of course, since this is no graphics enhancing mod, but the server host can now choose how much the clients can see from the radar detection, contained in `config/oreradar-server.toml` (or in Paper: `plugins/OreRadar/oreradar-server.toml`. The scan responsibility lies on the server, so clients don't cheat!

1.1. Ore outlines: pretty much a wall hack that shows you exactly where the ore or ore (Freddy Five Bears?) cluster is located. For creative-like experiences.
1.2. A tiny hovering compass: points you to the direction of the target
1.2.1. This will only guide you horizontally, not vertically
1.2.2. That's why I've also added a Y indicator to help you find the X
1.3. A beep that beeps faster the closer you get. Beepability to the max!

### 2. Added server tweakability
> I don't even know if this word exists, but now, tweaking is way easier. The host can choose to fine tune the ore/block detection to better suit gaming goals!

2.1 Want your players to have an easier time finding iron, but don't want them to go straight to diamonds? Just add `#minecraft:diamond_ores` to the `deny list` and you're good to go! Too lazy to set every single block as searchable? `allowAll = true`!
2.1.1 Default gets only ores detected
2.2 The `deny list` overwrites any additions to the allowlist, so, if any blocks are missing, try seeing if it's not there!
2.3 You can add blocks to groups! [["#c:ores/zinc", "create:zinc_ore"]]
2.4 Datapack groups: Any `data/<ns>/oreradar/groups.json`, and also Vein Mining's `data/<ns>/veinmining/groups.json` (`{"replace": bool, "groups": [[...], ...]}`), so existing packs' groups work for free. Ids are `pack/<key>`.
2.5 Target spec, as stored on the item:

@<groupId>: a group
#ns:path: a tag
ns:id: one block
2.6 You can now tweak the energy spent by the radar before running out of battery `scanIntervalTicks`
> Check more at the server commands section on the description.

### 3. Added console command!
`/oreradar reload` now reloads changes on the go

### 4. You can now add a keybind to open the radar!
Default stays off

### 5. There is now a HUD!
Pretty, full of goodies, all customizable by the host.
Nice!

### 6. Other goodies!
