Ore Overhaul

Ore overhaul is a mod for fabric on 20w16a+ that tweaks ore spawning.

This mod has been discontinued

Also it's horribly unbalanced

Currently it does the following:

The number of ore veins for each ore varies depending on your location of the world, by using a noisemap.

For example, one area might be coal rich, but iron deficient, Another might have lots of redstone, but hardly any lapis lazuli.

The mod is still in a development stage so it isn't complete.

This is designed with modpacks with lots of ores in mind, especially multiplayer servers thereof. It may help encourage the player to go exploring to find areas with the ores they need, or to trade with other players on the server which live in an area with materials they need.

...Alternatively it could annoy your players ;)
