What's new
Optional Suffering 1.1.6
- Beating an invasion now clears the ordinary mobs around you too, not just the ones it brought. You could win the fight and still be unable to sleep. Named mobs, pets, leashed mobs and bosses are spared; the radius is configurable.
- The kill counter stops at its goal instead of running past it ("31 / 30").
- Your bar turns green once you've done your share, and the team is told: "<Player> fought valiantly. Waiting for the other players."
- "Total chance" on the Lucky Stats screen now comes from Lucky Tweaks; Optional Suffering only adds "Invasion malus". Nothing moves on screen.
Multiplayer fixes
- Connecting no longer cancels the invasion for everyone. The grace period that shields you when you enter a dimension was also armed on login, and it applies to the whole dimension — so a friend joining at dusk cancelled the invasion for the entire team, and a group arriving one by one could wipe out several in a row. It now only arms on a real change of dimension, which is what it was for. An invasion already running when you connect was never affected.
- A dead team-mate left watching in spectator no longer locks the invasion. They still counted as a fighter it was waiting on, and since they can't score another kill, nobody could beat it: it ran to dawn, failed, and the whole team took the luck penalty.
- Slipping into another dimension just before dawn no longer dodges the outcome. It follows you now — the penalty, and the reward if you earned it.
- Beating an invasion on the very last tick no longer lets the cleanup sweep away bosses and named mobs.
