OpenComputers II: Modern

Multiversion Stage 3: OC2R now runs on NeoForge 1.21.1, NeoForge 26.1.2, NeoForge 26.2 and Fabric 1.21.1 from a single code base.

Targets in this release

Highlights

• 26.x port: the render pipeline of 26.1.2 and 26.2 (frame graph instead of immediate mode) for in-world terminals, monitors, the projector with its depth/compositing pass, network cables, the robot, GUI terminals and on-screen consoles.
• Fabric: the whole mod runs on Fabric 1.21.1 — registry, network, menu, capability, energy, environment and game-event bridges in core, a Fabric client (models, shaders, renderers, manual) and Fabric GameTests that run the shared suites on a Fabric server.
• New mechanics: scanner and crafting modules for the robot, robot localisation (getFacing, getPosition, calibratePosition), robots lifting entities that stand on them, and a power button that can start, shut down, reboot and power off.
• Guest: Sedna 5.2.0 with buildroot 0.2.10, a writable root filesystem with a private copy-on-write overlay, a persistent VM snapshot, simultaneous IPv4 interfaces with routing, TCP listeners and bounded UDP datagrams, plus /dev/hvc0, a native C RPC library and oc2ctl for OC2R devices.
• Terminal: the client render thread draws from a per-frame consistent snapshot, ENQ answerback, fenced multiline code blocks in the manual.
• Manual: the MIT-licensed Markdown Manual is embedded in the jar (English and Russian), with no external Markdown Manual or Architectury dependency.
• Flash writer: in-game interface for bundled firmware and local image uploads.

Verification

• 1,680 unit tests on the NeoForge nodes and 1,120 on the 26.x nodes, 38/40/40 server GameTests on NeoForge 1.21.1/26.1.2/26.2 and 56 on Fabric 1.21.1.
• Checkstyle, PMD, SpotBugs and the lint ratchet are green on every node, including the Fabric module and the generated 26.x trees.

This is a pre-release: Fabric is available for 1.21.1 only, and the Fabric 26.x port is planned for a later release.
