Oni Soul Leveling

Oni Soul Leveling transforms Minecraft into a progression-based RPG experience. Gain Soul XP from combat, level up your character, earn permanent stat bonuses, and face increasingly dangerous enemies as the world grows more hostile.

Hostile mobs scale to player progression, elite enemies can spawn with special affixes, and a configurable World Tier system allows server owners to dramatically increase difficulty without turning enemies into damage sponges. The more you fight the more they fight back!

World Tiers

World Tiers increase survival difficulty by reducing the effectiveness of player defenses and introducing stronger enemy equipment.

Unlike many scaling mods, World Tiers do not rely on massive health or damage multipliers. Combat remains fast and dangerous while preserving vanilla and modded mob behavior.

Configure armor and weapon loadouts for each World Tier:

Material ranges roll one matching material set per newly scaled mob.

gold-iron

Settings affect newly spawned or newly scaled mobs and are saved per world.

Elite Affixes

Elite mobs can spawn with one of several unique affixes, granting additional abilities and making encounters more dangerous.

Burning

Applies Soul Burn on hit for 4 seconds.
Soul Burn deals 1 damage every second.
Can deal up to 4 damage over its full duration.

Frostbound

Applies Slowness I and Mining Fatigue I for 4 seconds.
Has a 5-second cooldown between activations.

Soulbound

Heals itself when damaging a player.

Healing scales with level:

Base heal: 4 health
Additional scaling: +0.2 health per level
Maximum heal: 12 health
Has a 4-second cooldown between activations.

Ashen

Passive affix with no on-hit effect.
Grants +25% Knockback Resistance.
Continuously emits Ash and Soulfire particles.

Shared Elite Bonuses

All elite mobs receive the following bonuses:

1.5x Health Multiplier (before health cap)

Custom Soulfire nameplate
Soulfire particle effects on spawn
Unique spawn sound effects

Allows scaled mobs in World Tier 2 to spawn with armor ranging from leather through iron.

Sets scaled mobs in the current World Tier to use chainmail armor.
