This mod allows you to show off your skins even if the server is in offline mode.
In case of your normal skin doesn't load, you can add your/others skin in the generated folder (.minecraft/cachedImages/skins), named after your username and ends with .png. This way the mod will use the provided file to load a skin for your/others character.
[This can be turned off] Crafatar will also be used to provide skins when normal skin doesn't load.
You can also configure it to use a custom skin server through config. (after 1.12.2-v2)
High resolution skins are supported. (after 1.12.2-v3)
This mod is Client-Only, you don't need to install on server.
This mod was developed before SkinPort but it has been rewritten using codes from SkinPort several times.
There might be some bugs, reporting them to me is appreciated.
Future fabric versions are updated in this separate project.
Hello. I have a problem...
I put your mod on the server and client.
On the minecraft website, I have a skin with two layers. In the game, I see it...
I even installed your beck port mod. It didn't help.

hey, one question, how do you put capes ? cause i have put my cape image in the capes folder but it doesnt show the cape in game. im using 1.16.4 with optifine
pls help if you know whats the problem. thanks
I like how people asking "Can others see my skins too?" Dude its for offline, can you play with your friends without internet connection? Its only for you to play on your single player world when you don't have internet connection. If you have internet connection all the time, you don't need this mod at all.
In reply to buy_me_ass:
I was about to ask that. Offline also means the no-premium servers, so is not an stupid question at all.
In reply to buy_me_ass:
everything you just said was wrong. How tf do you even find your way home?
If this is the Forge mod listing, you should probably archive all Fabric JARs to reduce confusion.
if i use this can players in server can see my skin?
In reply to Endstarky:
yes, my friend the players in server can see your skin
In reply to Endstarky:
They Can If They Use This Mod
This is my fave mod! Other than Optifine! But, there is an issue. When running the 1.16.4 v1 version with Optifine 1.16.4 HD U G5 and holding a glowing block, the whole skin seems to glow white! Save the eyes... It might be because my skin is basically white and the eyes blue, everything's very light, but, it actually makes it glow like the block, so I didn't think that was intended X3
It could also be the BSL Shaders with the block held glowing option. I'll check that now.
I can't tell because it's actually an Optifine thing controlled by the shader.
Hay alguna forma de que los no clientes usen este mod?
(is there anyway for non client players to use this mod?)
