⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE UPDATING ⚠️

This update introduces massive changes to core systems including health, inventory, the beacon, enchanting, and world generation. To get the best experience, we highly recommend starting a fresh world. Existing worlds may encounter issues with the new progression systems and ore generation.

If you are continuing on a previous version, make sure to delete your old DawnForge config file and let it regenerate on first load. Outdated configs will conflict with new stat changes and may cause unexpected behaviour.

✦ NEW SYSTEMS
════════════════════════════════════

• Health Progression — Players now start with 1 heart. Spend 10 XP levels per upgrade at the Exp Bank to unlock additional hearts, up to a maximum of 10 hearts (9 upgrades).

• Inventory Progression — Inventory starts locked to the hotbar only. Spend 10 XP levels per row at the Exp Bank to unlock additional rows from bottom to top, up to the full 4-row inventory.

• Ender Chest Overhaul — The Ender Chest has been expanded to a 24-column, 8-row grid (192 total slots). Start with 1 row unlocked and spend 10 XP levels per row at the Exp Bank to unlock more.

• Experience Bank (Exp Bank) — New custom block and central hub for all progression upgrades. Spend XP levels here to unlock Health, Inventory Rows, Custom Inventory Rows, and Ender Chest Rows.

• Sleep Restriction — Players cannot sleep until Day 10. Attempting to use a bed before then displays: "Your sleep demons stop you from sleeping until day 10."

✦ BEACON OVERHAUL

• The beacon has been completely redesigned with a custom GUI, tiered abilities, and beacon-summoned allies.
• Left-click to select a power, right-click to deselect. Up to 2 abilities active at once in any combination.
• Place a payment item (Iron Ingot, Gold Ingot, Diamond, Emerald, or Netherite Ingot) in the payment slot — the item is consumed when you confirm.
• Custom beacon color picker and radius visibility toggle added.

Tier 1: Night Vision, Luck, Step Up, Ember Storm
Tier 2: Speed, Jump Boost, Fire Resistance, Brew Boost
Tier 3: Haste, Cleanse, Slow Fall, Long Reach, Nutrition, Regeneration
Tier 4 Primary: Health Boost, Strength, Resistance, Experience Boost, DawnForge (+2 durability to all items every 20s, daytime only)
Tier 4 Summons: Call of the Wild, Combat Medic, Voltguard, Metal Sentinels, Village Rebirth, Village Guardian, Siren, Eternal Flame, Sigil of Frost, Sigil of Flames, Sigil of Storms, Royal Awakening, Rune Giant

• Luck, Speed, Jump Boost, Haste, Health Boost, Strength, and Resistance are upgradable by selecting them twice.
• All summons respawn automatically after a cooldown if killed. Patrol range scales with pyramid tier.

✦ ENCHANTMENTS & UPGRADES

• Vanilla Enchantment Overhaul — Most vanilla enchantments have had their max levels extended and several incompatibility restrictions have been removed.

Extended Max Levels:

Level 6: Fortune, All 4 Protections, Feather Falling, Respiration, Thorns, Unbreaking, Mending, Looting, Sweeping Edge, Fire Aspect, Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Flame, Power, Luck of the Sea, Lure, Impaling, Swift Sneak
Level 4: Depth Strider, Frost Walker, Knockback, Punch, Soul Speed
Level 2: Silk Touch, Aqua Affinity, Infinity

Compatibility Fixes:

• All 4 Protection types can now be applied to the same armor piece.
• Mending and Infinity can now coexist on the same bow.
• Sharpness, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods can now coexist on the same weapon.
• Silk Touch and Fortune can coexist on the same pickaxe (toggle between them with shift-right-click — they never apply at the same time).
• Infinity and Power can now be applied to crossbows.
• Axes can now receive Sharpness, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods (Bedrock parity).
• Fortune now works on Ancient Debris (bonus drops based on Fortune level).

Infinity Rework:

• Infinity 1 — No arrows required in your inventory. Fires regular arrows from nothing.
• Infinity 2 — Also makes tipped arrows and spectral arrows infinite. Prioritises the offhand slot, then scans your inventory for special arrows.

Flame Rework:

• Each level of Flame now adds 4 seconds of fire to targets hit by arrows (Flame 6 = 24 seconds of fire).

• Custom Enchantment Table — New upgrade station that levels up existing enchantments on your tools and enchanted books, up to a hard cap of level 6. Requires Custom Bookshelves arranged in a specific layout. Costs scale per level (250–2,500 points + 5–25 lapis/redstone). Accepts Iron, Copper, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Quartz, and Netherite Ingots as upgrade materials.

• Silk Touch + Fortune Mode Switch — Pickaxes with both Silk Touch and Fortune can now toggle between the two with shift-right-click. They never stack simultaneously.

• Spawner & End Portal Silk Touch — Silk Touch 2+ drops the spawner and matching spawn egg. Silk Touch 4 drops the spawner with full NBT data intact and allows mining End Portal Frames.

• Anvil Changes — "Too Expensive" level cap removed. Anvil results now capped at 10 enchantments per item.

✦ NEW ITEMS & BLOCKS

• Holy Milk — New stackable item (64). Removes all negative effects including Zombie Infection and Reaper's Final Judgement without clearing positive buffs.

• Torch Backpack — Wearable chestplate-slot backpack that emits dynamic light. Holds up to 6,000 torches with auto-collect mode. Also emits light when held in main hand or offhand. Curios mod compatible.

• Armor Stand GUI — Right-click any Armor Stand to open a custom equipment GUI. Shift-right-click to instantly swap all armor.

Six new ores now generate naturally:

• XP Ore — Drops 1–4 levels worth of XP.
• Enderpearl Ore — Drops 1–5 Ender Pearls, 15% chance for an Eye of Ender.
• Mystery Ore — Rare loot including Elytra, Dragon Heads, Netherite Upgrade Templates, Armor Trims, Shulker Boxes, Totems, and more.
• Lucky Gem Ore — Drops random ores (Copper, Iron, Gold, Lapis, etc).
• Forgotten Ore — Drops random enchanted books (50% mod enchantments, 50% vanilla).
• Tempestite Ore — Drops potions and applies effects when mined.

All new ores respect Silk Touch.
