Oathbound Relics – Animated Altar Update
Rite of Severance Altar Overhaul
- Reworked the Rite of Severance altar to use a fully native animated renderer.
- Changed Altars texture to a hell theme, rather than mossy
- Added animated altar states including:
- Opening
- Closing
- Idle
- Ring spin
- Orb spin
- Dial spin
- Wave start
- Wave end
- Added animated ritual aura effects.
- Added colored emissive altar lighting.
- Added animated ritual color support.
- Added the blood pool surface to the altar basin.
- Improved the visual presentation of the Rite of Severance ritual.
Rendering Fixes
- Fixed the altar rendering twice at the same time.
- The old static block model was overlapping the animated block-entity renderer and causing severe z-fighting.
- The placed altar now uses only the animated renderer.
- The inventory / JEI item still retains a proper static preview model.
- Fixed incorrect Blockbench-to-Minecraft scale.
- Fixed the altar spawning upside down.
- Fixed the altar spawning several blocks above its actual placement position.
- Fixed the altar breaking particles using Minecraft’s missing-texture pattern.
- Fixed flat Blockbench surfaces disappearing when rendered through vanilla
ModelPart. - Fixed the top blood pool failing to render.
- Fixed the ritual aura producing a large black flickering plane.
- Fixed several altar surfaces clipping or disappearing when viewed from certain angles.
- Added support for Blockbench cube inflate/deformation values in the native model conversion.
- Fixed two lower altar base pieces appearing missing due to transparent UV faces being exposed by vanilla cube face mapping.
- The altar base should now render solid and consistently from all sides.
