This is an unofficial port/fork and combination of Nyx and it's Forks, Nyx: Rebirth of the Night, and Xyn.

This is a modern version of those mods and one that is being worked on regularly, so stay tuned!

Following the MIT license, the source code will be attached via GitHub.

This mod is in Alpha/Beta state, development is often and changing, and there may be bugs present.

Nyx: Rise of the Night

This mod adds Celestial Events to Minecraft, mainly Lunar Events but Solar events are coming.

Meteors and Falling Stars are appearing as well, the former exploding on the ground and spreading meteoric rocks in it's wake, and can occassionally spawn in Meteor Kats (who can be tamed and treated like a regular cat.)
Falling Stars rain down and can be used for building blocks.

Events

Blood Moons - Lunar

Turns the sky red and the moon grows, spawning in more mobs than normal in the night.

Harvest Moons - Lunar

A blue color in the sky and the moon boosts crop growth.

Star Showers - Lunar 

A yellow color accompanies falling stars who appear much more often.

Mining meteor rocks drop meteor shards whcih can be smelted into ingots, used for new armor, weaponry, and more.
