What's new

New features:

NEU-Style [NEC] Chat Prefix & Green Formatting (#5):

  • /calc chat outputs are now prefixed with a blue [NEC] tag (§9[NEC]) matching NEU calculator formatting.
  • Calculation results in chat are now displayed in green (§a).
  • Example: [NEC] 1+1 = 2

Number Literal Support (#6 by @ninjaguardian):

  • Added support for Binary (0b), Hexadecimal (0x), and Octal (0o) literals:
  • Binary: 0b1010 = 10, 0B1101 = 13
  • Hexadecimal: 0xFF = 255, 0xa1b = 2587
  • Octal: 0o77 = 63, 0o511 = 329
  • Underscores allowed between digits: 0b1010_0001 = 161
  • Full arithmetic & function support: 0b10 + 0xA + 0o10 = 20, sqrt(0x64) = 10

Improvements & Fixes:

  • Added @ninjaguardian to fabric.mod.json contributors list.
  • Enforced strict token adjacency to prevent spaced inputs (e.g. 0 b10) from misparsing.
  • Strict out-of-range digit validation (e.g. 0b102 or 0o78 properly throws an invalid number error).
  • Added /calchelp operators entry for number literals.
  • Expanded automated test suite to 216 tests covering all literal edge cases and heuristics.
