What's new

Nookworks 0.5.0 (beta)

Worlds from 0.4.0 load as they are.

New

  • Trading Counter: a village shop's counter a villager trades over by itself. Tick the trades in its screen; payment goes in by hopper, the goods come out of its bottom, at the price the villager gives whoever set it down. Stock comes back only as vanilla's does, at the villager's own workstation. A comparator reads its slots.
  • A Sort button on vanilla's chests, large chests, barrels, Ender Chests and shulker boxes (left out when Inventory Profiles Next, Inventory Sorter, Inventory Tweaks or Quark is installed; it can be switched off).
  • Lodestones have names - named from where they stand when set down, renamed with an empty-handed click - and Lode Pearls and lodestone compasses say them. With Jade, a lodestone shows its name.
  • Wool Shears: brass blade shears that shear a sheep on a lead and leave the lead on, now and then a wool more, Fortune too.
  • Stony Dirt, halfway between dirt and cobblestone, for paths and yards.

Changed

  • Dice roll as real dice do - tossed, bouncing, tumbling - and lie where they land.
  • The Dock-a-Daemon Door is a sliding door of oiled Dawnwood, a gate only when set into a wall; open, it shows the gate of the world beyond. Return doors stand in frames of stone bricks.
  • Chairs in better proportion; many item icons drawn anew; the Dawnwood boats look like vanilla's in Dawnwood's colour.
  • The Elevator is made of what it is drawn of: iron, brass and an ender pearl.
  • A line of how-to under the name of the Dock-a-Daemon Door, the Destination Panel, the If Mirror, the Barter Terminal and the spawner link set.

Fixed

  • From two independent reviews: trips through the Dock-a-Daemon Door ask claim mods before setting a door down; Soap and the Wrench ask for every block they change; the Spawner Controller's "no spawn rules" no longer overrides other mods or Peaceful; the Laser no longer hurts through panes and bars; the Absorption Pad drinks only from who stands on it; shift-clicking into a Storage Barrel tops up a stack first; and many more (see the full changelog).
