1. Scope
This license applies to Nokh Frame's original source code, compiled mod,
artwork, translations, and documentation (the "Mod"). It does not apply to
Minecraft, NeoForge, the NeoForged MDK template files, or third-party mods and
assets. Those works remain subject to their own licenses. The MDK template
notice is preserved in TEMPLATE_LICENSE.txt.
2. Permissions
You may view and study the publicly available source, download and run an
unmodified official release for personal use, and make private backup or test
copies. You may modify a private copy for your own use. You may fork the
repository solely to prepare and submit a contribution to the official
Nokh Frame repository. Keep copyright and license notices in these copies.
You may include and redistribute an official, unmodified Nokh Frame JAR in a
Minecraft modpack or launcher, including a publicly distributed modpack,
provided that you:
(a) obtain the JAR from an official NokhXyr release and do not modify,
recompile, or repackage it;
(b) preserve its copyright and license notices and identify NokhXyr as the
author, with a link to the official repository in the pack's mod list or
documentation where such a list exists; and
(c) do not sell or paywall Nokh Frame as a separate product, or present the
mod as your own work.
The modpack or launcher may be distributed free of charge or as part of a
monetized offering, but this permission does not grant rights over Minecraft,
NeoForge, or any other included mod or asset. You are responsible for their
separate license terms.
3. Restrictions
Except for the modpack and launcher permission in Section 2, without prior
written permission from NokhXyr, you may not publish, redistribute, mirror,
sell, sublicense, or rebrand the Mod or a modified build; use its original
source code or assets in another project; or remove authorship and license
notices. Linking to the official repository or official release is allowed.
Public repository visibility does not grant open-source rights.
4. Contributions
By submitting code, assets, translations, or documentation for inclusion in
Nokh Frame, you confirm that you have the right to submit them and grant
NokhXyr a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free,
transferable and sublicensable license to use, modify, publish, distribute,
and relicense that contribution as part of Nokh Frame. You retain ownership
of your original contribution. See .github/CONTRIBUTING.md.
5. Termination and warranty
The permissions above end if you violate these terms. The Mod is provided
"as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
NokhXyr is not liable for damages arising from its use to the extent
permitted by law.
6. Contact and third-party rights
Request additional permissions through the official repository:
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. Nokh Frame is an independent
fan-made mod and is not affiliated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, NeoForged,
or the authors of compatible third-party mods.
