Description

NoForcedPacks

Disable server-forced resource packs. Turn any required server texture pack into an optional toggle in the vanilla Resource Packs menu. Works on Hypixel and Hypixel Skyblock. Client-side only, Fabric.

What it does

Some servers force a resource pack on you the moment you connect — you can't say no. NoForcedPacks intercepts those forced packs and drops them into your normal Resource Packs menu as regular, toggleable entries. Move them between Selected and Unselected just like any other pack.

  • ✅ Turn server-forced packs on or off at will
  • ✅ Your choice persists across reconnects and game restarts
  • ✅ Leaves your own installed packs and built-in packs untouched
  • ✅ Tested on Hypixel / Skyblock
  • ✅ 100% client-side — safe to use, nothing installed server-side

How to use

  1. Install Fabric Loader + Fabric API.
  2. Drop NoForcedPacks into your mods folder.
  3. Join a server that forces a pack.
  4. Open Options → Resource Packs and toggle the forced pack off (or on).

Compatibility

  • Loader: Fabric
  • Minecraft: 1.21.11, 26.1.x, 26.2
  • Side: Client only
  • Requires: Fabric API

Some servers force a resource pack the moment you connect. NoForcedPacks lets you turn off that forced server texture pack or toggle it back on from the vanilla menu. Handy on Hypixel Skyblock, where the required pack is otherwise unavoidable.
