No Villager Discounts - NeoForge

Takes the exploit out of villager trading. Removes the zombie villager cure discount and the Hero of the Village discount, or scales them to whatever share you want.

What it does

• Cure discount: curing a zombie villager normally gives you a huge permanent discount with that villager. With the default settings this is gone.
• Hero of the Village discount: winning a raid normally cuts every villager price. With the default settings this is gone too.
• Partial values: each discount has its own multiplier from 0.0 (removed) to 1.0 (vanilla). Values in between scale the discount. Curing the same villager again never pushes the discount past the share you set.

What it leaves alone

• Normal trading reputation.
• The price penalty for hurting a villager.
• Price changes from other mods. Only the two discounts above are touched, and the vanilla pricing code is not replaced, so it works with mods like Villagers Reborn that build on vanilla trading.

Config

File: config/neonovillagerdiscounts-common.toml

Values outside the range are corrected automatically.

How this differs from the original

This is a derivative of No Villager Discounts by Pandaismyname1.

• Loader: built for NeoForge. The original targets Forge and Fabric.
• Config: each discount is controlled by one 0.0 to 1.0 multiplier. There is no option to limit how many times a player can get a discount from a villager.
• Repeat cures: re-curing a villager can never raise its discount above the share you set.
• Minimal footprint: only the cure and Hero of the Village discounts are changed. Reputation, the hurt-villager penalty, and other mods' price changes are untouched.
