🌟 Skeleton Wolf (M-series accessory) 🌟
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Tamed wolves become skeleton companions after fatal damage and can return to normal through feeding or their owner's respawn.
Skeleton Wolf gives loyal tamed wolves another chance after death. Instead of disappearing forever after a fatal attack, a tamed wolf can enter an undead skeleton form while keeping its connection to its owner.
SKELETON TRANSFORMATION
• When a tamed wolf suffers fatal damage, the mod intercepts the death and changes the wolf into its skeleton form.
• The wolf uses a dedicated skeleton-wolf texture rather than becoming a new hostile mob.
• Its owner relationship is retained.
• The mod can still show the familiar death message even when the transformation prevents permanent removal.
COMBAT AND SECOND DEATH
• Skeleton wolves ignore a defined set of ordinary physical attack damage types.
• Other damage types can still affect them.
• A second potentially fatal encounter can put the skeleton wolf into a temporary hidden, pending-return state instead of removing it forever.
RESTORING A WOLF
• Feed a visible skeleton wolf two accepted wolf-food items to return it to normal.
• Skeleton wolves can also return when their owner dies and respawns, including wolves waiting in the pending-return state.
• The transformation, feeding progress, pending-return state and owner-death tracking are saved with the wolf.
Skeleton Wolf focuses on a simple idea: keep a bond with a companion even when a battle goes wrong, while preserving meaningful recovery mechanics.
Includes skeleton transformation on fatal damage to tamed wolves.
• Includes a dedicated skeleton-wolf texture and persistent owner relationship.
• Includes physical-attack damage handling and a pending-return state for later fatal damage.
• Includes recovery through two accepted food items or owner death/respawn.
• Includes saved wolf transformation and recovery state.
INSTALLATION / COMPATIBILITY
• Use Minecraft Java 1.21.11, Fabric Loader 0.18.2 or later, and Java 21 or later.
