Night Config Fixes (Unofficial Fabric Port)

An unofficial Fabric port of the unreadable-config recovery workaround from Fuzs' Night Config Fixes for Minecraft 1.21.1. When Night Config cannot parse a configuration file, the mod removes the unreadable file and retries through the file's existing FileNotFoundAction, allowing that action to restore configured defaults. If recovery or the retry fails, the original parsing exception is preserved.

Scope

This Fabric release contains the upstream Fabric workaround only. The other upstream options modify Forge's configuration system and are not included here. This project is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fuzs.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• Fabric Loader 0.16.14 or newer
• Java 21 or newer

Testing

Built and smoke-tested in an isolated Minecraft 1.21.1 Fabric client. The test exercised recovery of a malformed TOML file through its configured fallback action. This does not certify every mod's configuration path.
