Natura (Unofficial Port)
📜 Original mod
This is an unofficial port of Natura 4.3.2 by mDiyo, progwml6 and the Slime Knights (Minecraft 1.12.2). Original source: github.com/progwml6/Natura. The original's code is public domain (CC0) and its textures are CC-BY 3.0, so derivative works are allowed with credit; the textures here stay CC-BY 3.0 with credit to their authors. All of the content, art and ideas are the original authors'.
How this port differs from the original:
- Runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge; the original is for 1.12.2.
- The 1.12 metadata blocks are separate blocks, as 1.13+ requires; the world generation places everything where 1.12 did (by biome type and climate).
- Optional Jade integration (the barley and cotton crops show their crop item) and more translations.
Heyo, Redwood trees! Chop them all day long!
Natura by mDiyo, progwml6 and the Slime Knights filled 1.12.2 worlds with new trees, berries, crops and a livelier nether, and stayed there. This port brings version 4.3.2 to Minecraft 1.21.1 for NeoForge, with the original numbers, textures, recipes and world generation: if you played Natura in a 1.12.2 pack, it works the way you remember.

Versions
- 1.21.1 — NeoForge 21.1.197+, Java 21
Installation
- Put the jar into
mods/on the server and on every client. The trees, bushes and crops generate in new chunks.
Performance
Grown barley and cotton no longer random-tick (the original kept them ticking forever): 16384 grown plants now cost the server the same as vanilla wheat. Thorn vines and animal tempting no longer create objects every tick. World generation was measured too: Natura is about 0.5 % of the generation time.
